  3. Ya got more chance of having a crap int queens handbag! you could say that about every car boot sale in the land, and to be honest more stolen stuff probably goes that way now rather than ebay, not saying ebay has no nicked gear, just that there is many more easier outlets available.
  4. Morning all, been flat on me back most of the week with flu, never felt so ill in years, first day of feeling slightly human again. have a good one and be safe.
  5. looks good John but i was going to say the same as Rupe, surley if your on any thing of a reasonabkle size that will be full in 10 mins, I know my 3.5t tipper on the odd occasion has needed emptying twice in the day. couldnt be arsed with a non tipper either. Massive improvement though mate.

  7. 40 years old for a holly is nowt, its only young and it depends on species really, if it was say a pop the tree officer probably wouldnt be too bothered, 200 years old oak and he would. also you dont say if your in a conservation area or not, if your not and theres no TPO's on the trees then the new land owner can do as he pleases.

  10. Mine kept gettin snagged and torn off aswell, just got a large wound dressing in the side pocket of my trousers now, dont really need much else and its always there if you have a bad ome.
  11. been through all that, making wheels up, taking em off etc, doing this and that just to get it in, no more, why make life hard for yourself just to save a few quid. If mine wont go in then i say i need to hire a small one, simples.
  12. Top news Mark, glad your sorted. banks are tossers at the moment. Good humor from Baz at Orange plant? mmmmm he's always in a good mood when theres a sniff of a sale. top bloke our Baz, normally takes the phiss as soon as i walk in his place.
  13. As above, takes a while to dry and must be kept dry but burns well, shite fire wood in the normal context of things like season for 8 months and away you go but as a long term fuel its good.
  14. Hire a smaller machine and pass the hire on to the customer, thats what i do when i cant get mine in. get a 13hp one, small and 2 guys can lift it.

  18. Am not a big fan of them to be honest as i find the quality of finish on the cuts to be poor, if its to big for manual pole pruners then i climb and do it.
  19. Yes but i doesnt make em rot down is a matter of months does it! i hardly makes any differance at all. If you go deep enough you might aswell dig it out or have it ground and not bugger up a chain.
  20. Makita are good but really aimed at semi pro/heavy domestic use, and dont have the same speed or power as the pro stuff.......pay a bit extra and get sthil if you need the pro stuff. Makita chainsaws are v good though.
