  5. Jst ordered 120 1 cube m bags off them, there good on price, i havent gone vented though, i got used clean bags for £1.77 each, fill them up in november when the woods dry and leave with customer, just not willing to pay 5 quid a bag just cos there vented.
  6. You saddo, bet you were tuggin one off dreamin that one up. had me going though..................
  7. Yes but he still has to split it(splitter runs on fuel) store it for a year( his money is tied up in that wood for 12months) load it up then deliver it, vans, truck and splitters dont run them selves. 80 quid is good, imo i sell wood but i dont sell cheap wood, theres to much work involved to sell it cheap. If you want cheap wood invest some of YOUR money in wood, splitter, etc etc and see how much you spend just to get "cheap firewood" ! Or buy crap thats freshly cut and wont burn in a month of sundays Makes me laff, i get loades of people calling and saying can i have some wood, i will take it as it is and split it myself, thinking there going to get it for nowt only to get miffed off when tell them its still the normal price. Why is it people think they can get wood cheap cos its only wood but dont try and have the coal man or Britiish gas over!
  8. 14. Try before you buy, i use a treemotion but what is good for me might not be for you, go to a shop and try one on, some shops have a rope rigged up so you can have a "climb" in the harness frst.

  18. You answered your own question, your too old you old git:lol: I have never been into town on new years eve Andy, like you say too many dicks wanting a fight over nowt, were going up the road to a house party with some friends. Happy new year everybody, thanks for a great year of Arbtalking, banter, advice and general Sh1t!. also Steveand the Mods , many thanks again for running this site free.........long may you reign and it continue.........
  19. This sort of thing WILL get worse, my wood pile at the moment in on a piece of field visable from the village road and the amount of people that have asked thinking its free wood is amasing. My log pile is tucked away at the same farm but out of view, i am moving into a barn in the yard in Jan so all my unprocessed stuff and logs will be out of site to everyone. Trouble is people think cos trees grow out of the ground there free to take, and when they have a woodburner fitted cos there "cheap" to run they never factor in the wood costs because they think they can get it anywhere.
  20. Go and do the course first, you wont need any kit to do it and it will show you what you need to get by on, it will be the bog basic kit but it will do the job well then when you have passed it you can go to an arb shop and try harnesses on and find what you like. You could blow mega money buying what you thinkg you will need when infact you dont.
  21. We got spliced 2 years ago and i wanted sommat differant, being both into bikes i tapped up a mate who had just had a trike built, should of seen the vicars face when he fired it up! 2 race cans on the back..........was class. went right through the village in second gear to keep the revs up:lol:
