  1. Your opinion is just that Why a slippery slope? you said that not me. Don't tell me you NEVER do anything wrong, of have never done anything wrong eco wise! I was pointing out facts that you seem to overlook when "Preaching" how good you/we all are!

  3. I agree, everylittle helps but there are bigger issues. Try taking your "crusade" to the Government then, they send billions of tons of OUR waste every year to the far east to be "Disposed" of by burning etc...........how very eco friendly. What about all the people that still burn coal? like me, coal is no better than burning a bit of treated wood( i dont as i dont get any).
  4. Understand what your getting at but go and have a look in places like India and china, there burning masses of harmful crap on a daily basis and thats blowing all over the world, i think some guy burning a few off cuts aint really going to do much now, the plannet is screwed anyway.

  8. I thought the Forces gave you a grant of training before you joined the real world again? i would invest in cs30/31 before you try and get some work, theres a lot of people looking for work WITH tickets so it might be better to get them first.
  9. But when they have ago at some point later in life and have had No training because Further education were to scared to show em the right way who's fault is it then? Life is dangerouse but we have to control riske, farming is dangerouse but lads still have to lean some how. Not having ago at you just hate this H+S mollycoddling bull.

A big hort firm i sub to in Harrogate has large ground maintanance contracts that inc hedge cutting, he now has to have all his 5 rung step ladders numbered, tested and inspected, safe systems of work issued and each "operator" has to sign to say they are competant in there use! ...........this country is going MAD.

  20. I agree Mick, that Oak looks a nice health balanced tree, why remove it, do the crown reduction if it's getting a bit out of hand and leave it at that. Those conny's are doing more harm than the oak and next door probable want abit more light in summer

    ladders or not

    LOl Huckie will be posting of his 200t as we speak!!!! How does you B inlaw get insurance? most window cleaners wont use ladders now for insurance reasons thats why the have gone for the long pole system.
