  1. There a classed as a 5" chipper not 6" If you look around abit and are willing to travel a bit you should be able to get a good machine for 4k easily, just dont be too picky with brand, colour or looks.
  2. As Rupe said, it will lose you work if your adding on for the chipper. why not get the little chipper, sell the Jensen and make more money most days then hire a chipper when needed and some of the extra money you made by not having a big chipper would off set the hire, you would still be up on not having to service and run a big machine. hope it makes sence
  3. Agree with Mr Shrekie, its a good set up but like stevie said thats one bad ass chipper and a standard grinder.
  4. :blushing:Didnt read full add just say it listed as a 2100cd, so yes an 80cc saw aint big enough.
  5. Agree, in years to come and with the sales of woodburners going threw the roof, good firewood is going to be at a cost, the days of wood heating being the cheap option will be a thing of the past. Any wood will make fire wood, even willow and pop it just needs 2 years to season and it will burn fast.
  6. Mine just gets cut and mixed into the pile with all the other stuff, find its quite good to burn to be honest and no complaints either but i wouldnt do a full load of it unless its all i had and it would then be a bit cheaper.
  7. Good book that, got mine on me shelf, beats the hell out of midget porn monthly that Bob reads.
  8. Good old bench that ace but i wouldnt let anyone employed use it, my uncle lost his thumb with one of those, 1 slip and it was claret everywhere.....
  9. Have a look on flebay, husqvarna 2100cd for sale, good powerful saw 100cc be good cheap milling saw.
  10. What did he expect it to do, there all experts till it goes wrong. Though for a minute Lofthouse had come out of hibanation......

    Jonsered

Thats one of the things for me, parts back up, i have nothing against Husky, Jreds and makita, they all produce good gear but the parts can take ages to get, i once waited 2 weeks for a drive sprocket for a 338t, if it had been a 200t they had one there and then, I can travel 5miles in any direction from me and get most common Stihl parts.

    Husky 372

Those prices are cheap, im not a husky man to be honest but i would consider certain saws at those prices, i guess there prices are plus VAT though and if so aint really any cheaper than Justin.
  13. The jred is just as good as a makita or husky,(almost the same as ahusky anyway) but if your going to mill owt of a size go with what Tommer says, after all he Knows milling, the 88 will do anything then, or go for an older stihl 090 etc. All the big saws are going to be thirsty, you cant get a 120cc engine to run on bugger all.

I have 2 older jonny red Liam, both run and perform well, there good saws but being that bit older tend to be a bit heavy, i keep em for logging and thats about all. price wise there a bit cheaper than husky. i think the comparison saw would be a 2156 or 2160 turbo. have a look at the jonsered web site, they do a decent top handle aswell but not for the uk market!
  18. I thought you and Bob were ALREADY floggin your asses on street corners!!

  23. Be vary careful, ignorance does not work in the eyes of the Law, YOU are supposed to know what you are selling and are responsable for it. I only sell in cubic meter bags, so every one is the same, i know what im selling and what the customer is getting, I dont do "Loads" as there is always some confusion as to what a "load" is.
  24. Loades of snow here mate, no work either, gettin used to tossin it off to be honest, bit bored though, hope it goes soon BUD!!!
