  1. My goldfish could pass that test,............... without a book:laugh1:
  2. £801
  3. I wouldn't do that, I would stay with the developer and get him to furnish the proper paperwork from the LA. As a general principal. if you go direct to the LA and they get frisky with more TPO's the developer will be upset at you for dropping him in it
  4. Buy land check for TPO Fell trees anyway Build house Go home rich :laugh1::laugh1:
  5. Throw line and rope weigh even less
  6. There must be wires unless its a hydraulic servo but since you said switch..... So heres how a servo works, electrical servos are a coil and magnet system, when you energise the coil the magnet moves, connect the magnet to the valve with a rod and the valve operates when the coil is energised. Proportional controll is a little diferent but essentially the same principal If the system is hydraulic servo the jojstick is a small hydraulic valve that opens a bigger one when opperated. This means the controll can be small, handy and light to opeperate unlike the valve it opperates which is chunky and not at all small and handy. The problen you seem to have is that the coil isnt moving far enough to open the valve fully
  7. Without seeing the system its hard to say but single or double shouldnt make a lot of diference If you paid someone to do the job chuck it back at them first.
  8. Breach of statutory protection is an offence absolute so if you are in breach and they are bent on action you are going to have to take it on the chin. Better their mickey mouse caution than a conviction, cost, stress etc.
  9. You dont need to turn up the pressure, the pressure is already there but it sounds like the servos need to be set to stoke longer so thay they open the valves fully
  10. Yes they charge a fee for it just as cheque cashing services do. Some places also offer to put credit on your pre pay card and despite what people want to believe about certain groups, they will do this for anyone at all.
  11. Alloy bashlins with buckingham super wrap velcro pads Your legs will thank you
  12. If the CT is Stratford Connecticut you would get a better response from one of the US based forums
  13. What he said Zermatts work out at about £100 per year and a bit less for gladiators and thats full time contract climbing. See Ruskin for guidance
  14. When is the world of tree work going to realise that they also opperate goods vehicles and need to follow the rules Its not always all about trees Middle of last year sat in a services eating a burger, traffic dar drives past and makes comment that he is pleased to see the breakaway cable properly attached Buy a spare and keep it in the cab

  16. Mine goes in the machine with regular washing soap as and when needed and as and when the wife is out. It will clatter arround if you dont fasten the buckles up. I cable tie mine to the webbing and put my chainsaw pant in for a little impact protection
  17. Mine is ported and throws a 36 inch chain like its nothing
  18. Not true but they can detect the marker with a probe in exhaust gasses even of you manage to remove the dye
  19. Ummmm, thanks for that, some of us still have that to put up with
  20. Well on that note, you should have one of the MKIII's in no time at all
  21. I am not so sure, all the joints bend anatomically correctly, that's hard (expensive) to do with a manikin
  22. Its Darwinism at work and as far as the industry rep goes, I only have control over the bit I operate so I don't worry about the rest. There are plenty of tube vids on here where members (professionals) ridicule non professionals so if they think that's OK why isn't laughing at "professionals" OK?
  23. That is sooo funny
  24. Antal make the rings, X rings is a re badge I bought mine from the chandlers and spliced them into whoopee slings. They work a treat, they are smooth but there is just enough friction in them that makes itself useful. Compared to pulley blocks they weigh next to nothing and you can chuck them about like you wouldn't dare with a block. I dropped one to the ground last Sunday with no ill effects whatsoever, cant do that with a pinto rig.
  25. Stop thinking start buying You wont regret it
