  1. Here ya go, all redneck and ZZ top And this bloke aint going at it like a wuss, unlike the bloke in the other clip [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2bVAAx3mMKY]WORLDS FASTEST LOGSPLITTER - YouTube[/ame]
  2. The temp gauge is nothing to go by. The cooling system will keep the block at a steady temp but the exhaust manifold and downpipe will be begging for mercy. Any road detritus that survived in the normally cooler areas gets burned off, either way if it smelled of rubber it isn't the clutch, friction linings have a very distinctive smell.
  3. Clutches aren't made of rubber so its unlikely that you were smelling the clutch. More likely it just got a bit warmer than usual on the hill and the smell was detritus burning bits that are warmer than usual
  4. Nope, there is a redneck version with a much bigger wheel
  5. How big is yours? I thought this was a strange find for the middle of summer, the second picture has a 390xp for scale
  6. So you are 18 with 2 years experience, meaning you started your experience at 16. This experience is whilst at college then???? I only mention this because when you say experience people are going to assume it means full time work experience You need to be clear about this with employers otherwise you could end up out of your depth. If you don't have at least a couple of years experience as a climber I would seriously re consider freelancing.
  7. Ya got that right, at the start of last week there were kids in Huddersfield pointing at the sky shouting "mummy mummy what is it? Poor little sods, the only brown they have ever seen is rust stains.
  8. Freeze a couple of bottles of water, thaws during the day giving lovely chilled water I also carry a 40l drum with a tap on it, luverly to dunk your head under cold running water.
  9. ten megmilliontrillion quid, moved it with a fleet of Chinooks and I had to get NASA to take the picture with a satellite:laugh1:
  10. Ha ha ha I bet the "schoolboys" at santa pod think its fun though:thumbup1:
  11. I really, really want a caravan, actually I need at least 2 but the more the merrier James and Richard play conkers with caravans (series 5, episode 4) - BBC Top Gear
  12. Barnsley not Burnley:001_rolleyes:
  13. If you want a price we need a picture or 5 at the least
  14. Its got the valve block hung on the bottom of the window frame so you can use the crane from the cab
  15. No big deal, lots of clips get posted a few times
  16. Oh dear that old myth again. The story goes that copper nails kill trees but its pure myth. They don't make them rot either. Put a bit of "roundup" on it to be sure
  17. Nope, they don't have to be for insurance purposes, that age boundary is just where the policy starts to get cheaper. There are many insurance companies that will insure young drivers. A driving licence and a towing licence will give you a distinct advantage, put a basic saw ticket with it and you become eminently employable.
  18. Forget the chainsaw tickets in the first instance and go for a driving licence and then a towing licence, you need a shitty stick to beat off plebs out of college with a ton of tickets and no experience. A driving licence and some means to get yourself to work will set you head and shoulders above the "sorry, my bus was late" brigade. You can gain tickets as you get experience but you can't get experience without a job.
  19. Now you known that's not true:laugh1: Curry Mile - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
  20. I can drop it for you for a reasonable cost, not interested in the timber though
  21. The best thing about Bradford is the road out of it, take the one marked Leeds and go to the royal armouries. Pop over through Huddersfield and try the canal and countryside museum at Marsden, it's the Yorks end of the Huddersfield narrow Canal tunnel, if you get that far have a drive over the Stanage road and drop into Uppermill for retail therapy, if you get to Uppermill I will put the kettle on for you.
  22. Thought so, my thoughts on this tree are ......firewood
  23. Or, that could be where the aforementioned large limb was attached, looks like an awfully fresh cut.
  24. So you are integrating with the natives:laugh1:
