  1. I have seen the whirlwind in action, it's mesmerising to watch, I know the bobbins are constrained by engineering but you can't help wondering that they don't hit each other
  2. If its for sale I will find a market for it:laugh1:
  3. That is some major league bad news
  4. What he said and what others said about the XTC
  5. Hmmmmm The solenoid valve consists of a needle type spring loaded valve and a coil to move it. The needle part seldom goes wrong, its just a stem and a spring inside a tube, a quick clean is all they ever need. The coil is the black (usually) bit with the wires that fits over the stem tube. The coil breaks down (goes weak) or burns out completely. The valve on the Jensen may have a built in speed control and this one doesn't Flowfit 3 Way Hydraulic Solenoid Diverters - Maximum Flow 80L Min 1-1
  6. That's a lot of money and I don't need one but your best place to sell that would be Canal Street in Manchester:laugh1:
  7. Some will ask for a report, most wont. I paid £120 for a report on a Discovery that I stretched and fitted a tipper to. No big drama
  8. Its probably not the solenoid you want but the coil pack about £20.00
  9. That's awfully confused and I cant be bothered picking through it. Suffice to say, you aren't at all experienced in UK arboriculture, or the UK in general. Most people don't engage us to preserve amenity, they call when they have a problem with a tree. Trees do provide amenity but they also blight other properties, I suggest you have a look at how housing has developed in the UK and just how close most properties are.
  10. Good processor sized material commands good prices roadside. One of the firewood guys will tell you what they have had to pay but the last load of Ash I saw changed hands at £45.00/ton
  11. So what's the timber worth roadside? Take that value out of the equation and split the rest down the middle. Whatever you decide get it all in writing before you start
  12. Like you said there is a fair bit to be taken into consideration wit t is piece of string. So he is providing the tractor and a barn? Is he providing labour for the splitting and stacking? Who is paying for the bags Is he involved with the loading and delivery? Who is doing (paying for) the advertising?
  13. I am going to offer that man a deal, I will sharpen his saw if he picks me a set of lottery numbers
  14. That would be an accurate description for the conditions of an operator's licence but in general terms moving a sawmill to a punters property to mill their timber will probably be an activity for hire or reward. The test of that would be, if you didn't move the mill there would be no hire or reward, therefore moving it to the area its going to work in is part of the hire.
  15. They are the only ones listed by the pearent company If you have problems get hold of schliesing direct Händlersuche | Schliesing Overland Environmental Services LTD Unit 5, Brick Kiln, Silchester Road - RG26 3PX Tadley, Hampshire - England 011898 14297 [email protected] Overland - Services and Products for the Utility & Public Sectors such as Forestry, Civil Engineering, and all aspects of Utility Support, including Specialist Utility vehicle design & build
  16. Who is providing the storage area?
  17. If they issue they can only do it when you agree, otherwise tell them you will see them in court. Fixed penalties are good if you are bang to rights and you know it, saves you time and money and the courts time.
  18. But I specifically said "211"
  19. For a "211"???????
  20. Good news on the filter. You should never complain about the price of lubricants, if you think oil is expensive try costing a new engine.
  21. No need to submit any sort of report for a 211 notification
  22. Yup, then they muller the slot with the end of a combi spanner and it starts leaking through the hole they made. The flip caps aren't perfect but the screw caps leave a lot to be desired as well. When all is said and done if you haven't got your "head in the game" up to managing something as simple as a flip cap you probably don't have any business going any further with a chainsaw.
  23. For 5th wheel yes
  24. By the handle of course:001_rolleyes:
  25. It would explain why they dropped the going equipped charge, lack of evidence and all that?
