  1. Hows the £250 reclaimable? Good to hear your getting it back. R
  2. Nope, I think it's a good thing because it make it so easy to tell decent shops from bad ones
  3. Been learning form the best about cutting ropes have you?:blushing: Rob
  4. I wish I had one of those, surely it's gota be age discrimination.............
  5. Sorry what do you mean included region?
  6. On a pre 97 licence you can tow a combination of up to 8250 ie 7500kg lorry and 750kg lorry or 5.25t van and 3t trailer if vehicle specs that. If you've taken the c1 test you can tow 750kg behind it. Anything over that you need full artic licence ie C+E
  7. The sort of gooey stuff in the middle of the picture sorry. R
  8. As the title suggests, I took this photo a little while ago on a tree I was quoting to remove, never seen anything like it before
  9. There are!! I had big problems with one of mine, was being told I was stupid etc, then it happened to a couple of others that used the saw, used to have to use the combi spanner to force turn it before locking it. I ordered a new cap and not had a problem since!
  10. Not to bad then, although still fairly easy to overload, will you be fitting bolster sides?
  11. What kind of weight can you carry with that? Most trucks that I've used with hiabs have been 10t plus?
  12. Tossers like this need dealing with. I finally got round to getting a ccj against the person that brought the bike but didn't make any payment. Will never get the money but makes me feel loads better. I'd send him an email explaining that HE needs to get this feedback removed or you will be taking legal action against him, but only if you genuinely have the time to follow it through, otherwise complain to ebay, they'll sort it eventually. R
  13. You want old for new tool cover, I'm always sceptical about how much will be covered and the only time I'll find out is when I really need it!! Which hopefully I never will. 4k doesn't sound like much cover if your including a chipper?? R
  14. My gut instinct would be that it's legitemate. There at market value. Whenever I've been offered gear that I believe has been dodgy it always well below market to shift it asap. I've been offered decent saws for £20 quid, it doesn't take a genius to work out not to touch these with a barge pole!! Unfotunately though when they're that price someone will buy them just to have it and the cycle continues. R
  15. I want to buy it as I'll be in a position to free up some capital towards the end of this year/start of next, they don't wana sell and I don't want to rent but it is an ideal location and setup...... I'll keep looking. R
  16. Is this what you swapped your woodland for? I've just been offered a good deal on 3 acres of hard standing but it's renting not buying so would be afraid of any spending to much money there. R
  17. I like trees, but that ones a bit close to the house.........................
  18. until the cheque bounced a week later............
  19. Done the old fence panel trick once, a couple of greenhouse glass panels, and phonelines. Hoping never to do anything more serious than an empty shed maybe. R
  20. Fraid I can't make it, got to much on this weekend. Have fun up there. R
  21. Don't really have a set routine, one day it's a 18-20hr day at the other side of the country. The next day it's a 2 hour job, as long as it balances out and I get enough time to enjoy my life overall it seems to work. If anything recently been having to much fun and not enough work, next 2 weeks are manic though!!

I had a lot of problems diagnosing a problem on a strimmer. It turn out coils can be intermitently faulty. This was on an echo strimmer. I've had it happen on 3 or 4 of them so obviously a fault that occurs with them over time. Must admit I haven't had it happen on anything else, (other than a mini - but i don't think that counts...) R
  23. I wasn't saying that you were, here someone that wasn't enjoying the return leg of the fan dance at all!!
