  1. Thanks Gary! I live a very tranquil life. This morning the air is full of birdsong.I love the way the planet Carries on regardless....It,s going to be a beautiful Spring. My view now.Stay safe Arbtalkers.
  2. I don,t socialise other than the Arb/APF shows so that will be the only change this year.My Grandson and I will meet on the gaming/internet platform as he lives several miles away to observe social distancing.I was to attend a site induction which will now take place via the wonder of technology which I am looking forward to.My birthday is on Sunday but I haven,t celebrated one for a long time so no change other than i will enjoy a nice walk with the dog.We are having some lovely Weather up here and I am enjoying seeing the bud bursts and the birdsong.Stopped going to the Gym about three weeks ago but will be cycling today. Not bought anything in bulk other than Razors and a set of hairclippers.Have something big coming up that there is no hurry for and can wait until the end of the year or 2021 so just doing bits of Tree work and keeping my head down, observing good hygiene and looking forward to Spring.
  3. Nice.Is it self levelling?
  4. Gutted[emoji26]...better safe than sorry though[emoji40]
  5. Being a Mad March Hare (Birthday in a week) my sap as usual this time of year is rising![emoji16]

  8. The last few mornings have started like this.
  9. On the Cusp of Spring here in Durham.Very warm and sunny.Buds are bursting and we have snowdrops and crocus everywhere.
  10. I really hope you get something Dan.Arbtalk is a great place to network and find work I have found over the years.Keep us posted
  11. You have been lucky Bilhook.Good tale to share if it prevents a similar event. And you are ok[emoji106]
  12. Stein X25 Ventout Orange or Yellow. Very hard wearing, smart, breathable, printable, comfortable, affordable
  13. Reminds me of the movie Ex Machina. (Which is excellent)
  14. A very good sign of clean air?
  15. Very cool pictures Josh! Love the Black Jensen. And the block driver[emoji106]
  16. Since the ZigZag came into the climbing world have seen a few units that clearly looked seriously abused.Watched climber walking around dragging their devices or ropes/lanyard through muddy puddles or chucking them over saws etc.Thankfully it,s been a minority.Sounds obvious but to a few it isn't.You life absolutely depends on keeping your climbing kit in good order.
  17. A chance to rest and reflect as I watched the sun go down and a chance to test the Gorilla Pod's stability and range of the bluetooth in the gale which was now blowing.....I love an Arbventure.??
  18. This place must have seen millions of visitors over thousands of years.Certainly some of the buildings in the area looked as if they had seen some folk in Victorian times.Quite splendid houses and a well worn pathway.
  19. Impressive formation but with the sun going down it was already feeling bitterly cold.Thankfully I was in my work gear and I,ve been thankfull for my ppe on many cold occasions.
  20. I had heard of this place...but never been."Cow and Calf" on Ilkley Moor I think it,s called.
  21. I had noticed some rocks over the valley in the distance that looked interesting.Would be great to see them before the sun went down.
  22. Always pretty cool to see peoples first reaction to battery saws. They aren't intended to necessarily compete or match existing power saws but rather have their own neiche.I rate them highly and in the right situation they are a both great saws....Thanks for the work Mr Dibnah?? I enjoy being the travelling Arborist.I get to meet people and see knew sights and work in a very familiar environment which are my favourite things.Really great lads to work with and after years of bumping into Ian C nice to finally have a day or two for him.So where to next?
