I miss tree work obviously at the moment and seeing my Grandchildren but not once have I been bored.I feel very sad for anyone who is suffering through illness or the loss of loved ones and have the utmost respect for all those who are keeping us safe and as comfortable as we can be at this time.......on the other side of life I am making the most of the good that is about of which there is plenty here.I have a great routine going although the vast majority of it takes place Indoors.Keeping fit and active. But I have discovered a side of me that I never knew I had.The Garden enthusiast! I think about Trees pretty much the whole time.Never noticed flowers much until now.Gardening has become my new hobby.Even learning the names of the lovely things around me.Pheasant's eye Narcissus for instance(First picture)

A very enjoyable video that Stere.Thanks.I've had Muddy Fox full suspension,Dawes Hybrid etc over the years but this old bike has been a part of life for a long g time now and I don't require anything else from two wheels although I posted it's evolution a year or two back when I had all it's components upgraded. Its a different animal now although retains its character.I love it.

Always good to hear from you anyway Darrin?Check this out mate.As you know my thread has been going some years now and was never meant to be about numbers, views, likes, comments. It's just an unfolding journey that began with my most desperate day. However your name caused me to notice the view count.Just missed an interesting number by one! Take care and be safe lad?

Other than being able to work or see my Grandchildren for real my private life isn't that much different.. although I haven't been out on my bike.So I am going to alternate the rota with my Ma so I can out on the old faithful.Even the cycle lanes and green areas are empty around here....well,almost??

With the Students gone (of which there are more than 17,000 here) Durham School closed no Tourists or weekend revellers in sight, the City has become such a beautiful Ghost town. This makes my morning routine so easy.It is rare that I see anyone even in the distance.Just me and the dog.
