  1. Paul and Ben were looking suitably Orange when I spoke to them yesterday.I'm really happy you have such a great crew who are so capable.I passed them out on site as I drove to Leyburn to get an espresso.Like I said it would be great to have a proper catch up later in the year...(Before I head for new horizons [emoji6]) Stay safe mate.Give my regards to Mrs Git and the little gits.
  2. I,m pleased I had my lid with the uprated muffs on.What a saw the 372 is....and combined with the wonderful aroma of Aspen2 it did make me smile for the 10 minutes it took to finish the cutting.
  3. If you're out there John, thanks again! Hopefully catch up soon mate
  4. I've always admired his choice of kit?The inspector Gadget of the Arb world I call him.
  5. John (Gray Git) wasn't around today but he said to just pop over and his lads would sort me out a saw so I could make quick work of what was left.
  6. We had a good old natter on the phone.I've missed seeing folk at the Arbshows this year? But there is always next year!
  7. I dare say I could have got a few rings cut too but I would say the 220 had done its job and I had a friend who was local I could ask a favour of.One of my best Arbtalk buddies.
  8. And stopped when I got to here with power to spare.Very happy with the performance of both saws. The job was peaceful...and rather enjoyable.
  9. And the rest to crown break using my 220 with an AP300S battery.
  10. Got it to here with the 161T using the small AP200 battery.(where my feet are actually and with a slight charge left??)
  11. There was certainly plenty of crown to cut and then manipulate away from stuff. All good cardio though.
  12. The neighbours to the rear were happy the tree was being removed and had said I could use the small area of lawn to throw branches into.I had already taken most of their side off before they realised I was even there before coming out to see. These saws really are so quiet. They were also delighted to see all Rose's intact.???
  13. There was a break in the rain which was a bonus that day.Looking forward to seeing if I could really put the saws through their paces.
  14. Heavily back leaning I decided to cut and hold, sling all the branches and dismantle it in small bits as the garden wasn't,t so clean on his side.He said he would dispose of the crown himself if I left logs.
  15. The customer had been trimming it over the years and there was a manky old harness and rope hanging from it.
  16. That I was asked to remove this Ash tree. This picture shows the easy side.Only a rotten busted up fence and a shed with a couple of other things but to the rear the majority of larger lateral limbs were over a line of prize Rose's,ornamental maples and a purpose built outbuilding with a hot tub in it.Perfect for a complete battery takedown??⚡?
  17. I need to escape my room, get some jobs in with something to really test my battery saws and it just so happens......
  18. My eyes are going square from all the You tube I've been watching during lockdown. It is time to see what work is out there.

  20. I have prepared myself fully for every eventuality when it comes to working around others. The faceshield was easy to fit.
