  1. Looked magical last night.
  2. Yes Mr Stubby! It is built up above a rather fancy old dwelling that dates back a couple of hundred years ago.
  3. Marvelous here in Durham.18 degrees with a slight breeze. So that is considered warm up here. It,s been sunny for a couple of weeks now.
  4. Toby gets three walks a day and has the run of a very large garden Mick.I choose to stay isolated for the time being.I have plenty to do.Once this is over I will be going on a journey of a lifetime???
  5. Taking my folks dog out gives me a chance to see some great signs of spring.
  6. One last look around at this magical place before a quiet run back home where I do my daily routine of video conferencing with family, bit of weights some thinking, planning and watching the Spring happing from my window.I am so lucky to live in such a place packed full of trees and Ancient buildings. And all to myself for an hour.......??
  7. My favourite of all of the Tree species as I have mentioned often.
  8. Yesterday brought me to my favourite grove of Durham's Yews.Hidden away from view but a place I visited often as a kid.Toby is sitting by the entrance to the secret tunnel.
  9. The streets and riverbanks may be empty but the trees and hedgerows are a hive of activity!
  10. Fit as a fiddle mate.Been doing this routine for weeks now since this first became a thing.I,m quite a loner anyway.
  11. Well.....for twenty three hours a day.I have one hour this morning to stretch my legs as I take Toby a walk.I take the same route each day along which I see or hear no one.It is like the most beautiful, peaceful, tranquil ghost town in the world. When this is over I shall miss it.I have my exercise routine at home now so this is for the dogs health but I do make sure I visit at least one of my favourite Trees along the way before we return to lockdown.
  12. And like my Bonsai I am confined to this room only to witness this from my window.
  13. And yet another Gorgeous Sunrise over the Cathedral City. It's started like this almost every morning so far this Spring.
  14. When I used to go to Brixton the first thing I would eat would be Rice and Peas with Oxtails,Goat or Jerk Chicken...Proppa Tings!
  15. It,s mainly Trees that catch my eye but as I am spending more time closer to home I am noticing things in the garden coming into life.
  16. The quality of the picture or film on the highest definition setting when held on this grip is incredible.
  17. Other than my Birthday climb and the 6 a.m dog walk I have spent most of the last few weeks hunkered down in the Fox hole high above the City.I spend most of my time doing excercise catching up on video chat with my Grandkids and researching for my BIG adventure and like I said that will happen when the time is right.I have all the time in the world. But the single best thing that I have which is helping me most in my isolated world at the moment is my Joby Gorilla Pod.It changes the way I can use my mobile device in so many ways.No more balancing my phone only to have it falling behind something or almost breaking on the floor. It was well worth the money. My favourite thing at the moment is Hyperlapse.
  18. Acid Jazz[emoji41]....I was more Acid House but that was pleasant enough[emoji449]?
  19. Eyeing up the Aessculus [emoji206][emoji102] (my favourite bud burst)
