  1. I am in such admiration of the patience and bravery you show in every video i,ve watched of your work.Along with the environment and the spectacular scenery I often watch the same ones over again.Above all your focus at such height and the fact that you come across as so humble is what I respect the most.[emoji106][emoji269]
  2. Interesting info regarding their other products.??
  3. The description for this knife reads,"For emergency cutting of rope,Netting or webbing especially if your life is going to depend on it" Perfect rescue knife then I reckon.
  4. Toby is a bonny dog for sure and he loves trees.
  5. I,m a sucker for an impulse buy.Well, espresso is my only vice these days.
  6. No other major purchases as I have everything I need but I have no rescue knife on my Treemotion.Got a Crkt Bearclaw.Sweet little thing.
  7. All about fine tuning now and after much deliberation and research I needed to swap my unused Petzel Knee ascender for a HAAS.Arrived early and took Toby for a walk in the great Woodland there.
  8. VW Transporter/Camper (good second hand one) or similar.Mazda Bongo looks good and seems very reliable, just smaller.
  9. But I like the system Jason Ma uses and will stick with my Chicane/Zig Zag+ and HAAS...
  10. I am finding Cardio really boring and have never had anything to take my mind off the exercises. But yesterday the gym has for the first time got a guest WiFi Installed. So i can watch lots of SRT videos and it has meant that i have been able to train longer!
  11. Thanks Rich.I value your advice very much[emoji106]Pretty Obsessed with SRT right now.In the learning stages now but it will be my main system soon.Certainly for ascent.
  12. What the eye doesn't see,the heart doesn,t feel [emoji102][emoji180]
  13. I can see who wears the chainsaw trousers in that relationship then??
  14. Happy Valentines day to everyone in Arbtalkland....It,s a few years since I sent one or gave a true love flowers, probably Mrs Fox.I had to share this really cool heart.A friend created it and said I could post it.I,m very happily single right now but this picture really appealed to me.It is of course two DMM Captain throwing hooks used for branch capture, work positioning and traversal.Very cool thinking from Drew Bristow?
  15. I had to have it....Have a safe and productive week everyone!
  16. I am going to knuckle down now and make every working day count.Build up my savings again as I am after a new kind of vehicle towards the end of the year.
  17. Nice one Gary! Everyone has a choice and is free to live how they want...I chose this path. From the moment I stopped, took back my life, everything changed....rapidly! I have more money to spend on the things i like. And more energy to do the things I love.I have everything I need and more.Time to put it to good use.I,m going to be unstoppable this year.Back to my impulse buy.Everything about the 160T impressed me and that, why I got the 161T.I love the raw power and sound of a big engined saw but I am noticing how good E-saw,s are becoming and I like the benefits of using them.Cutting edge technology excites me??
  18. Enjoy the rest of the weekend Y,all....oh,there is one last thing.I did treat myself to one impulse buy.I couldn,t resist it.I am super proud of turning my life round and I,m on course for the year of the Fox.So why not?
  19. Most of my viewing has been Base and Canopy anchors so I,m up to Re-directs now which is fascinating. SRT really is another world and I thrive on Modern Arboricultural methods.Tis riveting!
  20. That,s everything! Something pretty cool going on right now which I shall elaborate on in time.Hoying it down with rain outside so I,m going to do nothing today after I've taken the dog out.Buckin Billy is always great to catch up on.There was a great video all about his old faithful the other day.
  21. There is only one more piece of Tree climbing kit I need. While I am getting double of everything else it will fit in well in the armoury.I started on a Willans full body Harness. After college I bought my first Weaver saddle...Then an Tree Austria 1,then 2 and up until now I have worn a Petzel Sequoia. They have all been great in their own way.Willans will last forever as will a Weaver. The Austria models are so lightweight and so is the Sequouia and extremely comfortable. But there has always been one that I have admired ever since it came on the market and evolved.Teufelberger are a name that I have trusted with my life for years.Feels better than anything I,ve ever worn.I will continue adjusting it over the days.
  22. My lid will need replacing soon so it may as well be now and for me there is only one choice.Had several trouble free years with the last one.The 3M defenders can still be used for chipper use should I need to switch out the new ones.I,ll be 60 when I need to get my next one.
  23. Waking up fresh and ready to go on a Sunday is a feeling I am very used to these days.I've taken control of my life my health and my finances.I,very saved myself about £5,000 a year and avoided at least 450 hangovers.I always told myself that I would not only re-build myself as a person but also build on my potential career which would include equiptment. One last trip to Gustharts!
  24. Haven't even left the house and I,m winning! Got a great feeling about today and indeed this weekend.Got a tree job with my son today and we haven't worked together in a while so I am looking forward to it.But first if I can get an hour to warm up in the gym then it will be a Victory Indeed?Have a Fantastic Friday Arbtalkers!
