  1. Hi,You are in the right place[emoji106]
  2. Great set of pictures.Always a bonus when you can chip onto the site[emoji106]
  3. Can,t wait! [emoji106][emoji106][emoji106]
  4. I love training! Thrive on it in fact.Learning from or delivering it keeps me fresh and current. We are never to old to learn.I now feel ready to move on up into the new Decade⬆️?
  5. So to get back to yesterday. As this is going to be they ear in which I push myself the hardest to move up the ladder...or rope ..or whatever and attended an IPAF Course.I,ve cut from a basket on a few occasions.Even dismantled a couple of large trees from one but I have always wanted to get my ticket to be able to operate a MEWP too.I really enjoy being in the tree to do the work but in my quest for self- improvement and to get another string to my bow.
  6. The ring will be on my standard bridge.Would be nice to try SRT alongside the ZigZag on the Hydra. We shall see.
  7. My Second bridge will be adjustable and have this Hydra on it.I have always embraced all the new inovations in climbing technology over the years. As much as I am super comfortable and very capable with just a Prussick I want my harness to be versatile and offer me different options for the rapidly changing world of tree climbing (For better or worse)
  8. My other Teufelberger Pulley saver has a clip on it so it will be interesting to see the obvious improvement with the more open thimble. And I am a big fan of the DMM Pinto.
  9. Whilst I was there I added a couple of more items to my climbing kit. This could possibly be my last ever blue tongue.I,ve had a few but I just love it.I am going to put together my first SRT system soon but until then I shall continue to enjoy my very familiar ZigZag set up...
  10. Exchanged the very powerful 300S for the 300.Amazing how different it feels in the saw being only a fraction lighter.Had no problems over two years with this one in my 160.
  11. Great seeing all my relatives over Xmas and New Year but with a couple people of them having some kind of bug I wasn't going to escape it ...Nevertheless my enthusiasm for a good start to 2020 kept me motoring through the several days of illness.Even kept me awake when I would normally be sleeping. The weight of the 300S lithium battery for my E-Saw was weighing heavy on my mind. For a couple of days in fact.So much so that I was in two minds wether or not to replace it with the lighter(only by 100g) according to the Stihl technical guy I spoke to on the helpline. With only an extra 12 minutes run time over the standard 300.So I drove back to Gustharts in the very early hours. So early that I had to wait until they opened. It,s only about 25 minutes down the motorway from me and it was such a beautiful morning with a huge Moon to look at while I was waiting to speak to Phil there.
  12. I had a feeling this year was going to begin with an uplifting start...
  13. Really excited for you mate! I,m on a new journey myself this year. It,s been a few years since our last encounter so it would be great to have a re-union...soon.I,m off on a road trip next month so who knows? Life is about new challenges and self improvement I am finding and I suspect you are noticing new strings to your bow on the daily.Fantastic thread Mr Gand.Keep it Rollin' [emoji106][emoji269][emoji106][emoji269][emoji106][emoji269]
  14. Bought a Hydra today..but I am fitting a second adjustable bridge. So it will give me plenty of options regarding configurations.
  15. Happy New Year Steve and Mr Egg.On the Cusp of something exciting this year myself so busy getting everything in place.Hit the ground running as usual.
  16. The original 160⁰T soon became my favourite pruning saw so I,ve just bought myself the new 161T.Which is even better!
  17. I am fitting a secondary adjustable bridge to my Petzel Sequoia.Nice Gucci Jake[emoji106]
  18. Happy New Year Shires.Very neat[emoji106]
  19. I am very happy with all of my Arbpro PPE.The quality is outstanding. On a par with Pfanner.Had almost a year climbing in these and they are my favourite by far. They were warm in Summer although they have vents.Wearing them with the braces makes cooling them down easier.
  20. I appreciate the feedback Rich.A Happy New Year to you and your Family.I will always remember the help and friendship you gave me right back at the very start of my Desperate times Journey. Our paths do seem to cross at the most random times usually on an Arb Campsite. These boots are of a great construction but I do use my Evo,s for pruning work.Super light and sticky.Mind you everything seems light these days.Guess I,m just a lot stronger. The 500i feels like a 261[emoji6][emoji963]️‍♂️
  21. Thanks Mr Git..I worked out that in I probably wasted 30 years of my life in certain areas...Certainly Dumbed down during survival modes.I am making up for it now.
