  3. Do you get a written go ahead for the work from the customer? I don't but I think I should to cover my ass.
  4. Once you put your spec together that sounds like a quote. You send them a spec then.
  5. You don't so it in front of the customer. You take notes while looking at the job. Go home write the quote up then email/post it. They know exActly what they are getting and you know exactly what you are doing.

  8. So for the people that don't write quotes to mrs miggins.. What if you do the job and they say you haven't done this or that. You feel a fool cuz you have no back up to say that's how the job was going to be???

  11. Ha. I have just got back from the physio as well. I'm not allowed to sit for 48 hours as I have a disc that is playing up. Got to get some strong drugs from docs tomorrow. Strong anti imflamitory Strong pain killer Strong spasmodic Apparently it will mong me out for 48 hours. Not looking forward to that too much. Lower back pain and one cold leg due to trapped nerves and sciatia.

  23. I had a beech bud scratch the back of my eyeball a few years back, had to have two weeks off work. I was chipping and the brash while I was feeding it in went under my visor; under my glasses, under my eye lid and split second later the opposite way. Carried on working but could t hack sunlight pity cuz there was a ladies hockey match going on next to us and I was doing to watch it. (•)(•) opticians then hosp then London eye hosp. All good now
