  2. short rope then pi is great, i have a long 40m of pi and it bouncy but that can be an advantage some times. The Tachyon is great, also have that in a long rope and it brill. horses for courses.
  3. I think Jasp wilson made one, they did have one for sale a while ago on their website.
  4. I started with the tt105 and still have it as its a great trailer and will serve you well, also they hold the value very well. I also have the riko fast tow trailer which has been brilliant in the sense of the grab and the ability it has given us. The only problem is Riko's build quality, the welds started to fail on the first day using it. Has cost me a couple of hundred to have it sorted out and there is still more to do like cover up exposed hydraulic rams under where the logs go. I think the Ifor botex grab looks good and also Marshall engineering might be making something similar in the future.
  5. try the bc200 vermeer! the 75 is okay but could be allot better imo!
  6. this seams like a great camera. ltl 5210a look it up on ebay, best price so far is £118.
  7. 1&1 website are good. i built my other site in a day, seo'd and all!!
  8. Yep, start putting your own in at the profit is brilliant, i worked out the costings of felling our own, transport etc etc. Buying in an trying to remain competitive just doesnt work efficiently enough, stick in arb waste and a few who you knows from local estates and i think the percentage is much greater. I think we kick out at 45-50 a load!!
  9. Great company to deal with.
  10. I geekishly desgned a spread sheet which worked out your percentage profit margin dependant on your variables of cost of buying, fuel, mileage, processing time etc etc. We dont make much thats for sure!!!!
  11. We have just got a new 2052 dalen, all i can say is i am impressed with the quality. No belts to go wrong either. handles arb waste really well.
  12. B&Q do a grey box with a folding lid. holds all my kit and locks. About £25 to buy.
  13. no wonder he left if thats the wage!
  14. That a big lump of wood!!!! Not at all jealous of hand balling that lot!!!! You are right to moss your Valmet on that one!
  15. You have an issue with your splitter, from Riko, noooooo!!!! lol
  16. I deliver free to the yard gate, after that i charge!
  17. My Labrador thinks its great with tennis balls!!!!! Amazing for putting mines up too, first shot (most of the time)
  18. devon 4x4 or Welcome to English Braids in Malvern. its good stuff i have it on my warn winch.
  19. I showed a local metal fabricator a picture of fuelwoods one. works a treat........... £90!!!!
  20. My wee chipper spends allot of her days hiding in the garage bit it's a great machine when it comes out. I have the 18hp gm, and it always starts and chips like a beauty. Great machines to start out with.
  21. the conveyor is great, billet like crazy and store the wood and as the orders come in just process away!! simples!!!!! you wont go wrong with the binderberger, it does though need an extension on the infeed holder to make it better but easy to make. you can easily cut 2 billets at a time with it too!
  22. bond investments, speak to matt potter in the morning as i deal with them. finance will be super easy with them. they specialise in arb and are really helpful.
  23. not entirely sure, i lifted a 13 foot piece of ash at 2.5 feet diameter. ots more than enough for what we need. Its a toy compaired to botex and other hiabs but it goes behind my truck, it spins 180 degrees and can load the tipper too!!!!
  24. Its one of riko fast tow jobs with a few extras. been using it everywhere recently. In woodlands, log deliveries and for shifting and lifting big (ish) bits on takedowns. great bit of kit.
