  1. indeed i did, but thats estimated basic costings before any profit is calculated and of course i didnt add the 2 bacon sarnies at the burger van outside evesham to the price. all in all, its costs to do that job, unless of course we have a job out that way very soon. Also Screwie lives in the next Village over so all good. Right im off out to scare the local rabbit population with the rifle. night all.
  2. Its habitual dont worry, but it makes for great reading before bed time.
  3. too true!!! lol and by the looks he has just landed!
  4. Hodge, just costs, not enclosing my amounts but say 2 men at £90 per day, or which ever combination you choose to make £180. Divide that by 8 for the working hours and taaa daaa!! lol. £22.50. Iron Jack, as i mentioned i am sure we can work something out. You gotta love Rupe.
  5. Lets just say... If we were calculating this to the hourly rate and the costs involved with doing a job for £50 its not really beneficial but as it arbtalk you might get away with it. AS Rupe says if your next door and little Mrs Miggings comes over and you chip for 10mins with 2 blokes for £50, your doing well. But on the flip side say (for easy maths) Incured costs (roughly) Tipper truck: 25p per mile, 30 mile round trip (Because you live close!) = £7.50 2 men for 1 hr work, 30mins travel = 1h 30 mins @ £22.50 p/h = 33.75 Diesel in chipper, 1 Hr, estimated £4.00 insurance, wear tear blah blah (estimated) =£4.00 (im sure there is more and this is just estimated costs) Estimated total = £49.25p So hopefully because its Arbtalk someone can lend a hand.
  6. I will put it up again, just incase it was skipped over...... send me a pm and i should be able to sort something out for you as we are not that far away from you.

Needless to say they all came out and went through the kit, riskys etc etc, they said they couldnt let this opportunity pass!!! Thanks!!!! Mind you i reported some cowboys working but was informed they wouldnt be able to do anything!!!!
  9. cracking food for what we had there, even sweet talked the lady at sausage fest for a extra free sausage!!! Im not complaining as they were having a good time and as andy said, they were smiling and cheerful. That works for me.
  10. Im pretty sure Mr Loler Uk did just that at the APF too!!!!! Cracking show though, had as described a village atmosphere which helped enormously on last years layout. Well done AA

  16. One of my client has the faux box Elephants in Her garden, always wondered where it came from!!! Bit of an odd one she is!!!! Lol
  17. It runs the smart feed system which should roll it back slightly to stop it rubbing, we used it today on some laburnum and the same thing happened again. Even jammed a few times with the hydraulics not reversing the rollers! Its a good concept but not ready yet.
  18. The chip in the back had been cut cleanly, we thought that initially but with closer inspection it appears to be fine. Have a look at the other vid. They just do this!
  19. That quad chip munches through on that video!
  20. This Vermeer is the demo machine with 50hrs on it!!!! I have used these bc160's quite a bit due to mine being back with them every other week. They all behave a little like this to be honest and even get hung up on small brash.
