  1. lol, i have one!!!!! only paid 800 for it though. really good
  2. What i will do is pass on numbers etc to the client and go from there. The oak is a fair size, im guessing at least 4-5 feet in diameter and it is still in the field eith limbs attached but has been down for a long time. I will contact the client and go from there.
  3. I run the BC200 which is the newer version of the 150, the overheating is purely due to the front of the radiator getting clogged up. I have a pre-filter on mine which i check every morning and clean as necessary. Engines are bomb proof and the machines are good but so fudging heavy!!!! Mine for the same power as TW150 completely out performs it and i even demo's the new Bandit 70 the other week and that with 45hp just doesnt keep up or handle the material as well as the Vermeer. Only issues as been discussed already, parts are expensive!!!!
  4. I read that initially as homophobic leather!!! thought that was quite fetching for the color then realized!!! Look a good boot but a tad bright!
  5. so who won it then? beat me by £100!!!!!! lol
  6. a band saw will not touch it unless its huge!!! Its a job for a chainsaw mill.
  7. I have a client who needs some beams milled out of a huge oak he has. I am too busy to be able to do this for him. thought i would put the work out if anyone wanted it.
  8. Rikos, a12 towables are good!!!

    flyers

Go for a4 DL leaflets, it gives you six sides and doesnt look like every other leaflet. I dont really do it as we dont need too but when i started we put out 3-400 and the response was great. Just remember, make it look very professional and your company approachable. Oh and go glossy, clients love gloss!
  10. We get more than that and ours goes to Slough or port Talbot I think.
  11. Tree Surgeons & Fuel | Boomeco
  12. Stobarts pay very little, try Boomeco, they have always been good to me.
  13. Are they hand held or bench mounted? And how do you plug them in!!!!! Lol
  14. Seriously people will pay 2k regardless. I bought my old one for 2k used it for 6-8 months and sold it for 2k! Stick it on ebay and away you go. Great little things from the day when small Vermeer chippers were worth their salt!
  15. As Rob D said, use a little grinder which plugs into the car lighter socket, i have the oregon one and it great especially on the 880 with a 4 foot bar!! Hand sharpening is the way for small bars like the ms200 or ms260's etc. I am looking at one of the oregon bench grinders to sort chains out when they are knackered. As for not cutting your hand without gloves, it just a moments lapse of concentration and hello blood loss!!! Hurts like hell and it will happen, i try and always where a thick glove. The last one i did on the 880 took 3 weeks to heal and 1 week of that my finger was locked straight with a chop stick as it was to the bone!!!!! nasty! Have a look at the oregon sharpeners, i noticed jonsie is selling them in the Shiney stuff section of his website.
  16. most go for about 2k in that spec.
  17. Tilt shift lenses are £1000's to buy. Photoshop allows you to adapt your images to the same effect. Take an image from a height to gain perspective then play in photoshop adding a graduated lens blur then saturate the colors to give them the model effect. Its simple enough once figured out.
  18. That wasnt done on the app, i played with that one in photeshop for a few minutes
  19. Just come back from London and tested a couple of image in photoshop. That app is okay but not very clear.
  20. We used a fiddler block and a VT to stop it running back. Worked a treat, I got mine from jonesie at the show, really handy for loads of things. We use our Arb trolley a huge amount, just saved endless dragging of small amounts,
  21. Ahh yes the greenhorns first week!! Thought we would test him a little, I did the pulling though. The trolley is great if you get it balanced properly. The hard bit is getting it on the trolley in the first place!! Think we may of maxed our with this one!
  22. We tried to break it again but it coped. This Cedar must weigh close to 400kg. Flipping heavy and it did start making a few interesting noises but the wood it out and away!
  23. What a stunning video this one is, Use of depth of field is brilliant.
  24. Mr Jones is pretty good to be honest, try the banners on the right here.
