  1. I think i am getting lazy now!!!! Arb trolley and a hiab.....easy peasy life!!!!
  2. It is a pleasure to use, all hydraulic lifting with the conveyor and the tunstan blade is awesome. Really really well built. I am trading tomorrow so be quick if you want it, it will prob be available from marshalls for about 4k next week!!!!
  3. I am selling the Binderberger because my Riko splitter welds failed causing a catastrophic self destruction and now cannot split any wood to Billets!!!!! I have bought a new processor from marshall engineering instead. If anyone does want to buy this Circular saw it will have to be tonight as it is being traded in otherwise. The new price for these is now £4200-300 plus Vat!!! Mine has done about 10 tonnes. there is also no Vat to pay! Riko....... booooooooooo
  4. I have had a few things from Riko... not any more we should say! here is mine conveniently for sale as well! Binderberger WS 700 ZFB ArbTrader
  5. Just needlessly plugging my Binderberger Circular saw which i am trying to sell. I was using it in conjunction with my log splitter to split to billets and process my wood but unfortunately my well known log splitter welds failed (for the 2nd time) and went bang in a big way!!!! This machine is like new, i have only processed about 10 tonnes maximum with it but it is now sitting idle which is no good for me. All the VAT has been paid and i am selling it cheaper on here than advertised elsewhere. So if it can of interest to anyone on here or even someone you know then brilliant. Binderberger WS 700 ZFB ArbTrader
  6. This is our Iveco with 3mm Ali sides, been super strong for the last 3 years. A few dents here and there but nothing to worry. We didnt even line it with board, to be truthful we only really load it with chip and throw the wood in a trailer. Also if boredom does strike we play giant naughts and crosses on it!!!!!
  7. This is our BC200, see looks like a BC150 with different stickers but it does chew wood for fun!!!!
  8. The blades were very sharp as it had only done 5-6 hours if i remember. there is no info on the BC200 online, no idea why but it looks like a 150 but with bigger components!!!
  9. No seriously, fast or slow she wouldnt go. Its not a patch on the bigger machines. Luckily we have been using chippers long enough to know about setting them up to different material. Get it on demo and see what you think, i compared like for like side by side. Vermeer 1 Bandit 0
  10. I looked at their stand at the CLA game fair, that £140.00 per cube gets you a fair amount of Aspen wood....... or should i say Poplar!!!! But cant argue, great set up!
  11. We had the Bandit 75 out on test and put it against our Vermeer Bc200 which has less power. I have to say i wasnt that impressed in the machines material handling in comparison to my machine. Its not a bad machine at all, well built (heavy!), access to all components etc etc but next to ours it would of been a down grade. Next to a 6 inch machine, it would be amazing! I am not sure if they need a little more mass in the fly wheel to make the most of the 45hp turbo engine. comes with its own pokey stick too!!!!
  12. Dean, just looking at the post on new chippers. Thought i would say i have had the bandit 75 out on demo and really was not impressed by it. We have a vermeer bc200 which is classed as a 7.5 inch chipper as is the bandit but with only 35 hp and not 45. Our vermeer out performed the bandit by miles, Bandit havent got it quite right yet.

  13. Downward facing hopper will drive you crazy. Turntable if you are doing lots of streetwork, remember its sub 750kg and some of that weight is in the turntable meaning less is on the bits that count! but tbh i would favour the 150 just because they are proven, we put 400 faultless hrs on our old one before we sold it for a 9 inch machine. also there are 0% finance deals about at the moment too!
  14. i have just put mine for sale in the classifieds. great bit of kit.
  15. 1 puncture so far, just got a heavy duty inner for it and so far so good! keep the bearings greased as well.
  16. We can go up there John if your struggling. Can even come with us if you like!
  17. Decent built European machine? Are the Italians helpful jim?
  18. This Cedar was struck by lightening years ago, we removed a few dead limbs leaving enough room for this carving. We didnt do the work so if you are on here please claim it because it is bleddy brilliant! Not sure of the little owls under the live branch union though but hey ho the client is happy!
  19. I take on subbies, i make sure i have the money to pay them regardless of my cash flow issues and bad clients. Your not being unrealistic, just make sure he understands that you expect to be paid with in 1 week of the invoice date and have that set out! On the flip side, when you buggers dont invoice for a whole month then land a 2.5k bill....... grrrrrrrr!!! lol good luck.
  20. Rubbish, im never home, people always want me to look at their trees, and im working everyday for at least the next month or two!!!! Could be worse.... could be in an office!!!! lol Its all good.
  21. i bet the water board have been looking for that broken pipe for years!!!!
  22. As Paul said read up on NJUG and Utilities, memorise the BS5837 survey table, take a scaled ruler with you with 1:500 scale on! Generally familiarise yourself with site development procedures, technologies etc! Temporary surfaces, permeable carparks surfaces etc etc. Its a crazy test but read the question and answer only what is asked. Practice measuring trees quickly, ie measure one well and approximate the ones next to it based on the initial measurement. Its rough but fast! Good Luck!
  23. I have had the Otterbox one for a while and that was really good although the rubber case once in the pocket is a b$%£h to get out in a hurry!! Griffin also do a case called the survivor which looks amazing too, you can see a vid of them throwing the phone about on youtube. Cases designed to meet or exceed military standards, for iPhone 4, iPad 2, and iPod touch | Griffin Technology
  24. Yeh he is with me anyway just needed a 3rd man as got let down by someone at 8 the night before! All worked out in the end luckily.
