  1. That was a friends machine, so i stuck a sticker on it for a giggle. I used to have one before mart so hence why i recomended one to him. Belts/bearing can be bought from Brammer, Vermeer are very expensive on parts but the nice thing about the 620 is you can fix it with a welder and a hammer. That machine was pretty good when i saw it, and the engine ran well.
  2. The kohler engine parts such as air filters can be got from the serial numbers, if you go on some american arb sitew you might even be able to get a manual to down load. I used to have one and it had a manual with it with all the details you are after but it went with the machine.
  3. Im growing to like the feel Treemeup, it adds character!
  4. Terribly sorry Nigel, only got it yesterday and late at that too. Didnt think i would bother anyone on a Sunday and as it is a general forum filled with tree type people who are going to be using the trolley i didnt think it was a bad shout! These have only just really come out into the general population so expect feed back from the word go, this will be in the form of good/bad and constructive criticism on any product. One man is going to make his own as the price is too great. Thats feedback! Will call tomorrow and have a chat.
  5. Anyone elses arbor trolley got allot of slack in the handle/main body connection, mine wobbles all over the shop. That over time will wear badly i think, it almost need to either be married together better or have a shim down either side.
  6. Tree me up, you can hire my one!!!
  7. riko sell one, or binderberger with a circular saw.
  8. here he is again!!!! Scamming little toe rag!! TimberWolf Woodchipper TW150 on eBay (end time 26-Mar-11 17:09:52 GMT)
  9. Just got quoted 2k for my 4 trucks including my cherry picker, i dont feel so robbed now listening to you guys!!! They are also insured for anyone to drive over 25. That was with the NFU as well! I will try Trust tomorrow though just to see.
  10. Also for something a little different, how about an sc252 on tracks. SAS from Malvern are converting vermeers to tracks. I saw one the other day and it looks brilliant. Always worth considering.
  11. Read the manual it came with, got some funky angles to sharpen too, and you sharpen the bottom of the blade!!!
  12. It is a scam, a friend bought a chipper from up there with a similar advert, what they do is get you to pay for the machine via a courier. The courier company they organise doesnt exist and the money goes to them, luckily my friend spotted this before parting with the cash. Needless to say the bloke disappeared after the auction. Is a scam so leave alone.
  13. Welcome to the world of the CS100, oh and white finger!!!!! lol
  14. It took 40 mins to see if the machine had the right serial numbers. to be honest the stamp isnt brilliant and an I looked like a 1 so its now part of an investigation!!! lol. Hire company is chuffed!!!!
  15. Lol. my light is on constantly due to the wires not being connected at the back! the garage who mot's mine replaced the brake pads, didnt connect it back up up but still passed it!
  16. Just to restore some faith in the local constabulary i was pulled over by the police yesterday on the slip road to the M5. I was towing a Carlton 7015 stump grinder on hire from a local firm, they want to do a check on it to see if it was stolen. It took 40 mins out of my day but to be fair i said i didnt mind as if my equipment was stolen at least i thought it might be pulled over somewhere down the road! First time in 3 years though!!!
  17. Conifer, Pine, Willow, Poplar, mmmmm lovely! i just sold my conifer pile on ebay, some will want it!
  18. The tree is within a conservation area therefore will require permission from the council if any pruning is to be carried out. There are certain exception to the act but i dont think this is one. Ring up the TO , explain your clients problems they may even let you do it with out application if your nice!
  19. We own a cherry picker and it brilliant, we use it where ever we can for crown lifts, small reductions and of course conifer. Its safer, often more efficient but constrained by access on most parts.
  20. I found another one! note the gas tank underneath!!!
  21. Oh yeh, the tree motions arse twanging elastic is definetly a pain!! If its a clean shot, my word does it make you stop for a second or two!!!!
  22. Tree motion, its a great harness, pricey but if you wear it every day then it might as well be the best.
  23. Channel 4 news at the moment, interesting how the battle for wood is again commencing from the biomass industry and furniture makers. Is Drax sustainable and 30 more biomass power plants to be built in the future. Start chipping i say!!!
  24. mmmmmmmm firewood!!!! so good!!! lol! Plank it, will be fantastic.
  25. I think if ever something should happen and you open up the £25 10man first aid kit and think, balls this isnt going to work, £290 will seem like an absolute bargain. The people who work for me have said they feel better knowing there is a kit in the truck that will cope with 99% of possible incidents. Buy one and hope you never need it.
