  1. I use a little pinto spacer above the friction hitch and below the wrench as well. Stops your gloves getting caught in the hitch
  2. I can see your logic but there is no way it happens in practice
  3. Has this happened to you?
  4. That's gutting Dean. Poor little Telula
  5. XRSE I think

  10. Shirts for me. I'm sure that I'm not alone here but I have a small waist, a thick neck and wide chest and shoulders. Trying to get a smart shirt to fit is a nightmare. I've either got to get the collar right or the front.
  11. Could you take a photo of the files please. God I'm sad.....
  12. They look alright. Had 3 pairs of Meindls and agree about the cold feet
  13. There are good and bad in all. Bought lots off eBay and had no problems but not sold high value stuff. I'm sure you'll get the odd chancer wherever there is the opportunity

  15. Are Haspfors (sp) any good?

  20. The trick is holding onto the rope with your left hand while you twist it
  21. I can recommend Ian's pens, I didn't go for the fountain pen but got the ballpoint one instead. Really good quality. Ian, the ink has just run out this week, what size are the refills?
  22. Old Snake, Brushcutter, Drew B, Rich Rule, Ewan Murray, Ben_R, Ian Flatters and Adam Bourne, Spud.... To be fair, there are so many people on here that have been brilliant in sharing knowledge and helping to move the industry on its hard to list them all
  23. Do they do Venison sandwiches? I'll have to pop in there now

About

Arbtalk.co.uk is a hub for the arboriculture industry in the UK.
If you're just starting out and you need business, equipment, tech or training support you're in the right place.  If you've done it, made it, got a van load of oily t-shirts and have decided to give something back by sharing your knowledge or wisdom,  then you're welcome too.
If you would like to contribute to making this industry more effective and safe then welcome.
Just like a living tree, it'll always be a work in progress.
Please have a look around, sign up, share and contribute the best you have.
