  1. That's excellent news. Am I correct in thinking that you need to have Yale Double braid, Samson double braid, Marlow etc and then certification for the respective 16 strands as well?
  2. Page not availiable mate
  3. Quite right to. I'm just suprised that they would be ok with splicing used rope. Just out of interest, How much use has it seen and how old.is it?
  4. Sorry, I wasn't clear. I'm aware of the Slaice and the process, I was checking if you meant that Honeys would be happy to splice used rope that hadn't been bought from you at the AA Show. Thanks

    Whoops

Not saying that the security on the day didn't do a fantastic job. To get the whole stadium evacuated in the time they did is top notch. It just seems strange that they'd not know that it was a training bomb and call for a planned detonation if there was training the same week.

    Whoops

I don't know. Something sounds a bit fishy to me.
  7. Even if not bought from you?
  8. How much are you after J? My brother was looking for one. I'll ask him if he's still after one
  9. My mate has them and really rates them. Certainly can't go wrong for that money
  10. I heard that too. It's fine though, it'll have broken by the time you finish walking round and the Petzl rep will still be there to return it to
  11. Any announced winners yet?
  12. Depends on your budget. If you've got a budget of about 50 quid. Get a Hitchclimber. If you can afford a bit more and don't mind sending it back when every model breaks, get a zigzag. Personally, I would go hitch climber every time
  13. I'll pop down for a bit on the Saturday. Will be a nice Gentleman's outing. I'll have to try to get the postcode right this year
  14. "Climbing trees doesn't take any special skill or strength" What an absolute pump-handle
  15. Ha ha. That tickled me
  16. I'd have a 550 over a 261 any day.
  17. Don't know but it works fine if it's in you pocket
  18. I have one on my phone. Annoying that it doesn't pick up climbing. Tend to do a minimum of 10000 steps a day
  19. .....If it's not been climbed on lots. Also worth mentioning that it's doubtful suppliers will splice ropes that haven't come from them or are used
  20. Brilliant
  21. In the pictures I sent, the body of one is Cedar. Apparently worked really well
  22. I don't mind Kern but some hate the bounce. Cougar blue meant to be good but I've only got a short hank so couldn't comment extensively on it. Hope you're keeping well mate
  23. I've asked my brother. Will let you know. Are you making one?
