    Storage

Very securely, all locked up guarded by miniature angry glow in the dark wolves and I ain't telling you the safe command
  2. Bugger forgot to add picture before sending
  3. Answer to softwood - make these... This 1 is no more than 7" diameter and 12"tall for £8 spotted in cotswolds in Newcastle today, getting the label printed probably cost more than the timber.!
  4. Looks solid and like it will have some good gripping force judging by the size of ram behind those claws. Your going to have to get some videos of these new toys up soon Eddie as we are dying to see them working.
  5. Lent it to someone else to use.
  6. Chipping the stuff it torture unless it's a big open hopper machine that you'd normally think was overkill for the size of material. Like Stephen said 360 to rip it out then either burn or row up at the edge of the site on better ground and run over with a mulcher which is how I did some for the m o d a few years back on a no burn site, expensive equipment but knocked my labour bill down to about 10% of what was originally proposed and tried by another contractor on the site the year before with a tw190. We did a lot more in less time for the same cost and probably more profit, everybody wins.
  7. Landy 90 pick up, ex army 2.5ltr normal aspirated diesel and a lengthened sanky trailer was my 1st legal Road going vehicle that started earning me money paid for by bezing about the local farms doing jobs and logs since I was 14 on a old quad bike I'd got and fixed up.
  8. Unfortunately the long rought and was closed and impassable due to a washout and even deeper flooding so the only other choice was a pub for the night which was tempting. Annoying thing was at 7.30 when the closure diversion was being set up everything was fine and passable, joy of the dales and fast rising swale. My job today was build this with my 4 year olds 'help'
  9. Yeh, that was trying to get home from a job up the dales where I had the bigger 360 over its tracks in the flooding river. Was an interesting drive home for sure!
  10. Landys are made for playing in the floods Ian, you got a raised intake yet? Had mine so my feet and peddles were under water last week and the tray back was level with the water, not recommended but she servived unlike the Hilux following me.
  11. Will the loader reach high enough to tip chip into a 30yard role of role off skip Jon as that's what collects my chip? On the look out for something for the yard and to do odd runs out to collect timber off jobs as well as some winching work on some of the more technical estate forestry style jobs we get to do. Driven a MF 390 lots as a skidder and like the simplicity of these older tractors and with decent ground clearance.
  12. Congratulations, Well done bud, James has done the same recently aswel.
  13. You'll be wasting away, quick get something down ye neck soon! Almost about to serve up a relative feast to the Lawrence clan.
  14. No its off my smaller digger but had the mounting plate made so it could go onto this 8toner if we needed more reach or power which it certainly has! Got a hardwood forestry thinning job in the new year that this will be coming on for about a week to stack the timber and brash.
  15. Got my grab onto my friends 8toner last week which made like so easy,
  16. That's the magic right there for sure! My two are 7 and 4 now and so excited, old enough to realy enjoy it and young enough to still believe. Got a wireless Bluetooth speaker so can take my music round the house without inflicting it on everyone.
  17. Calm but drizzle today which is better than expected!
  18. Didn't get an ash about the same as that this week as another guy said if he could have the timber he'd do it 200 cheaper than me!?! Conifer is 3 men morning then 2 off to a 2nd job while 1 stays and grinds and fills trailer with logs. 550ish round here for a domestic job in that sort of housing I'd think but some fool would probably put 250 on it for cash in hand on a Saturday!
  19. Sprouts, chestnuts and homemade sloe gin. Not a fan of dates, strange texture!
  20. Really would not want to slip and insert 1 of those claws into my own leg!
  21. Better a fox than what scared the...... out of my lad yesterday when it started flapping it's wings and roaring..
  22. Yeh and as not allowed to work tomorrow because I really need to do some shopping I just cracked on nd got done, 1 good thing was all the mud that the branches picked up getting dragged down bank got washed of before going into the chipper 👍 Interesting (but sad) about your uncle rich, I'll ask a few of the old timers in the village if they remember him and yes that river is dangerous and claimed a few!
  23. Better bud as I like the posh horsey girls with whips 😍
  24. Nope, can't see why anyone would want to get this calender as it could never be displayed at home, yard maybe but hidden if wife came down
