  1. Scary ain't it! Course's constant battles where we have to justify and provide evidence far more than I do to any other lpa official who can see what's blatantly obvious to anyone with a clue!
  2. A client had this tree fail with quite significant but rot present which extends around 4ft up the trunk, as you can see from the pictures the rear garden is like a forest and I'm concerned that the rest of the trees due to the connection of roots will also be infected as iv see in some forestry stands so increase the likelihood of further failing trees. Out tree officer who has no arb quals and referred to these Spruce as Christmas trees advised them it'd be fine and it'd be an isolated problem, I beg to differ so would appreciate some others input.
  3. Possibly 1drives 1 side and 1 the other I guess giving almost skid steer steering if needed??
  4. Unfortunately once the greenery go's in its not as far.
  5. We had a gm150 when our qc was in for work and we managed to get it to fill the box by firing the chip at the box roof so it could bounce forward which actually worked quite well. If you look at the spec sheet it's actually got quite a slow router speed compared to most of the competition machines, good machine though!
  6. 26degrees in our lounge tonight according to daughters thermometer, almost too hot with the squirrel lit!
  7. Ah just you wate till they get to 5 and the real fun starts.
  8. Better of getting this for 19k new and ditching it after 3years
  9. Wouldn't want to have to log that lot up John! Plogs would love that in his yard!
  10. Knackered now from chasing 5 year Olds round a big soft play area/assault course knees are killing me now! But at least we didn't need to rescue any stuck well endowed mums this year Jon. How was your nephew s do Jon?
  11. Had a quadchip which could happily hammer the headboard on my rb which has a 9'6" bed, demoed a gm 190 which like yours struggled to get greenery fare enough forward to efficiently fill the box, I now have a st8 which will fill a grain trailer even with wet conifer.
  12. Nice video Bro, was thinking why are they not chipping as you go till the end when I realized you were leaving it as a cushion to drop the rest onto 👍, did a big euc last week nd it's definitely strange stuff to cut, hard as owt nd piggin heavy!
  13. Haven't heard from johny for an age but his truck is sure a nice example. Crane makes her look bigger than that . Good solid old tractor which I bet would be still worth a decent amount, used to have a 76 as a skidder and loved it.
  14. Is that a 7610 or 7810? She's a beauty alright!
  15. Once I'm sure Sthil produced a backpack that was designed as a clearing saw harness but could carry a chainsaw, fuelcan a few tools and a bit of food all at same time, iv tried Google but no joy on images so next time I'm at dad's I'll have a look at some early -mid 90's catalogs that might still be in my old room nd see if I dreamt it or not.
  16. Sorry just thought that wolves not foxes but you know what I mean.
  17. Yeh to that! Well apart from a really nice den to retreat to and howl at the moon as loud as you like 😉
  18. Cook sow and bonny, she's a keeper mate! Glad you're doing well nd life is good again.
  19. Wounder if it could spot bats roosting in trees during a survey. Didn't someone start using thermal imaging as a form of decay detection in mature trees as a hollow or degraded section of tree would be a different temp to more solid or activit area.
