  1. Nice video Bro, was thinking why are they not chipping as you go till the end when I realized you were leaving it as a cushion to drop the rest onto 👍, did a big euc last week nd it's definitely strange stuff to cut, hard as owt nd piggin heavy!
  2. Haven't heard from johny for an age but his truck is sure a nice example. Crane makes her look bigger than that . Good solid old tractor which I bet would be still worth a decent amount, used to have a 76 as a skidder and loved it.
  3. Is that a 7610 or 7810? She's a beauty alright!
  4. Once I'm sure Sthil produced a backpack that was designed as a clearing saw harness but could carry a chainsaw, fuelcan a few tools and a bit of food all at same time, iv tried Google but no joy on images so next time I'm at dad's I'll have a look at some early -mid 90's catalogs that might still be in my old room nd see if I dreamt it or not.
  5. Sorry just thought that wolves not foxes but you know what I mean.
  6. Yeh to that! Well apart from a really nice den to retreat to and howl at the moon as loud as you like 😉
  7. Cook sow and bonny, she's a keeper mate! Glad you're doing well nd life is good again.
  8. 👍👍....
  9. Wounder if it could spot bats roosting in trees during a survey. Didn't someone start using thermal imaging as a form of decay detection in mature trees as a hollow or degraded section of tree would be a different temp to more solid or activit area.
  10. Did you ever finish it?

I'd say your brave asking that question which has been asked countless times before with an almost infinite number of answers deriving from the many variables of business model, client, equipment, overheads, experience and profit margins. Good luck getting the answer you Want
  12. Ow yes that would be so good with a fast tow trailer behind as well.
  13. A fellow sufferer off the dreaded spell checker, correct spelling of the wrong word is quite common with me too although helping my kids learn has helped me as the way they are taught now is so much better. We have had Christmas tree (a cedar) and conker tree on work specs before now.
  14. Nice 1 ham, so like our house it's unreal!
  15. Snow on the m18
  16. 👍👍brilliant
  17. Looked it but my frozen body said different, realy weird climbing in a tree full of leaf and ice on top of the branches, the cold was a bonus as got truck rite into the tree instead of getting stuck in the slop of the building site, getting out after it thored a bit almost got interesting!
  18. Worked with a lad like that who would disappear for a week at a time and when asked where he'd been he'd have no idea but proudly show you a new tat he couldn't remember getting but just found 1 morning. Had another lad who liked licking random stuff like sticks, van doors even a gate post for no apparent reason always worried 1 day he'd try a spinning chainsaw chain!
  19. Big uke to remove today. Was a man down so had to bosh a load and come down and help clean up, 14m of chip and not sure on logs as had a steady stream of wood vultures thankfully having the timber away, was just left with the main trunk to remove which was quite a size.
  20. You'll tend to find those who can provide all the paperwork for some of the council contracts are big anough to have an administrator to do all the paperwork but staff who on the most part have never seen any of it. Funny thing is I'm a authorised county council contractor but was unable to forfill all the ludicrously long winded criteria for our town/district 2 year pre qualification questionnaire 180pages worth which only counted as 40% of your overall score I believe and 60% on price calculation format. I know some of the TO's were not happy about how it was done.
  21. Looks like you have a shorter tether on your wrench now, any chance you could post a decent pick of how you have it set up as really fancy trying the same setup. Cool job and nice video.
