Na I've ran my one all day doing multiple stumps continuously with no tidy up and used 40ltrs. Yes it's going to drink a lot but you grind a lot in that time. If your overly worried about fuel consumption you need to do one of 3 things Maintain your teeth better or continuesly replace for sharp ones to cut as fast as possible and grind efficient with lots of pre digging. Get a smaller engine and spend longer doing the job so more operating hrs and less jobs done per man hr. Spend a whole heap more money and buy a diesel machine you won't get in to half your jobs. Choosing a grinder is basically all about compromise as no one machine is perfect for everyone so it's about what works best for your target client and to me the zt ticked the most boxes without blowing my bank account to bits as grinding is only an additional service to us and not a main money spinner.

Front diff on landy Bolt heads sheared off somehow and had a really good chew at the main gear [emoji49]

Nasty, bust ribs hurt rediculosly. Just realised from last picture we worked together years ago at fountains on the hv ironically just after robbo broke 3 of my ribs ?

I've had my Stanley in daily abuse for easily 8 years and apart from smashing the cup and a stopper it always keeps its heat well Got a cheep mountain warehouses food flask and its been good for two years now, fill it with hot water first and heat the crap out of what's going in it in a pan first not a microwave is the key.

Hit one of those with a mulcher as well and know your pain trying to get it out, wasn't too bad getting it out apart from the 20 add tight turns at the top near the bearing which getting the snips on was hard, cordless grinder will now travel with me every time!

Not broke but incredibly annoying, wire was a total pita to get untangled and hot the cluck that branch got wedged in there I don't know but it did not want to come out!

We do it with busy daddy's heizohack every so often and put all the rings and noggins through with the table part lifted so they fall towards the feed table and quickly fill the chip bay, couple of hrs gets between 90 and 120 m³ done which at around £10m³ makes it worth getting rid of. The way the biomass market is going our "waste" is starting to have a real value and is slowly getting sort out as the availability of virgin timber gets less and more expensive.

Also carry a shear grab Few pictures from last week taking out some fieldside sycamores over a wobbly wall and not enough room to fell whole back into the wood.

Really useful thing, with the quick change bracket and pipes it takes less than 5 min to change from timber grab to clam shell and less than 10 min to lift the tipper on as well. Not tryed it yet but hoping the grinder will fit between the headboard and tipper.

It's never the grinding I dislike but always the tidy up, that's why I built this for when access is good enough, even reaching over fences and walls is possible

We have a bandit 90 and yes it's a big lump of a machine but ours is 85hp perkins, big advantages of this machine over the others you mentioned are top crush which means dealing with bulky brash stuff is much easier and is like having a bigger capacity machine and you can have a over hopper winch mounted which saves so much dragging it's unbeatable. To me the vermeer looks very top heavy and the hopper is very high to lift heavy stuff into, I like the look of the tp but not a brand I've ever had anything to do with nor the tw350 -
Interesting, I know when I had the quad chip the blades were very resistant and easy to change. So this machine is staying with a similar internal setup to a 200 with a feed system more suited to tangled bulky material. Definitely a good development

Are the blades set as per a normal chipper or set different to stand contamination better?

Never had a pecking order issue, she loved the children and never showed any sign of gelousy if I was playing with them and not her and seemed to understand her place in the social order of our house

Wife had to have my 2 year old luna put down last week as she appeared to start getting aggressive and going for everyone, apparently bit my daughter on the foot aggressively and ended up with puncture wounds that needed dressing then trapping wife in utility room until the little cocker distracted her and allowed wife to get past, any one know or heard if Lyme deciese or similar carried by ticks can have a effect like this on dogs as this was vets theory. Having a hard time coming to terms with all this as I never saw it and normally she was so soft and docile.

Problem is us machines are very well built very well with poor electrics where European machines as not built as well with just as poor electric components in my opinion, unfortunately electrics high vibration and outdoor conditions just don't mix long term.

On a zt the two things your not going to do you said, paint it orange and fit a remote [emoji24] At least I have the nice shiny heat sheald and pipe covers now.

Pwm platforms at B Bridge , talk to Paul as he has a good range of tracked machines and as your local will probably come have a look and can operate for you as well if needed.
