  1. I think vermeer UK are a farmi dealer or its m large. 100hp would run a 10" farmi but only a small laimet prob 6"max as they don't have stress control. sent while pretending to do something important on my mobile.
  2. Nice, glad she's earnings a crust for you jon. sent while pretending to do something important on my mobile.
  3. Always nasty if your balls do that:-P sent while pretending to do something important on my mobile.
  4. Probably the safety cut out on the drop box has shifted on its thred so is cutting in under less load, before I sold mine it would pull a lot less than it should but found the grub screw had fallen out so every time I used it it was getting less as the plate unscrewed itself. sent while pretending to do something important on my mobile.
  5. Sorry can't get a link up with phone and pc is playing up so any help would be good. Thought out old friend reg was losing it at 1st but all became clear very quickly, well worth a watch! I agree with the sentiments of your video reg ;-) sent while pretending to do something important on my mobile.
  6. Don't think they are fussy as long as it's hydraulic oil, sounds like water in the oil so you might need a new tank cap as the seal will have perished. sent while pretending to do something important on my mobile.
  7. The only time I've smashed multi tips is on a 60hp grinder and only after much abuse I'd be thinking casting falt for the broken teeth and be investing in a spade to clear round stumps a bit in the future. sent while pretending to do something important on my mobile.
  8. Try looking at a farmi chipper if your just starting out with biomass chipping as much cheaper than most other brands, although it will not have a screen in it they do have slither brakes so tend not to suffer from oversized bits. sent while pretending to do something important on my mobile.
  9. Sounds like low oil level or water in the oil, too get it too come back down you will find a little bolt with a slot in on the top of the pump, undo this counter clockwise and it'll release the pressure and drop the bed back down. sent while pretending to do something important on my mobile.
  10. For forestry rounding off the toes is best practice as ugly but ends can lead to loades being rejected by the mill's as there auto system can't cope with them or costs more to process them. I was always thought by very experienced fallers to put gob in and if the tree proved sound then cut togas off the sides to stop tearing out roots and possibly affecting the direction of fall. If a trees structure is compromised by decay the buttresses are often the only sound timber left to create a hinge so need leaving till after falling but still good practice to trim them off after as makes everything easier to stack. As always with experience you learn to tayler your techniques to each situation so there is no definitive right and wrong ways, but most definitely safe and unsafe ways of felling timber. sent while pretending to do something important on my mobile.
  11. Lad that subbys local to me had this problem with his, I had a quick look for him and found that no matter how good the atomic tuning is it can't cope with a air filter that hasn't been cleared for near 4 months, quick airline out a retune in a big log and back too normal. Not saying this is your problem but go's to show some people just think the worst when it's not the saws falt. sent while pretending to do something important on my mobile.
  12. Do you actually want this job or are you just wasting our time just to tell job centre you have tried but failed, more money for nowt please.... Do you know how to make your own bate as we will not be stopping at a shop for you. Do you have Facebook on your phone and do you know how to turn it off while at work. Sorry just the questions some would like to ask but not always appreciated in a interview. sent while pretending to do something important on my mobile.
  13. Ash the points you make about the belts and fan are also true on the quadchip. But the flywheel speeds differ because of the pully sizes not engine rpm. Fuel consumption I estimate is around 1ltr of fuel per cubic m of chip on average going. sent while pretending to do something important on my mobile.
  14. I'll 2nd what kev said, I've used a 150 quite a bit as well and it's still a good.chipper, Quad 2 blade's, 150 4 blade's so twice the cost but hardly.any different in Chipping performance but this could be down to the fact the 150 has a slower roater speed which also means a little slower chip lobbing ability. Both are excellent chippers and it's more down to your type of work but personally for what I do the turntable swings it every time unless of course I was going much bigger then I'd have inline. sent while pretending to do something important on my mobile.
  15. That would give you the option of towing it behind a decent truck for more normal chipping duties and free up the dumper for ferrying chip off site. Could you not fit this sort of guillotine grapple to the tilt roater for more accurate cutting and stacking? sent while pretending to do something important on my mobile.
  16. That is awesome setup, very simple shear grab which I think Richard homes imports into this country. Just got to love bandit chippers! sent while pretending to do something important on my mobile.
  17. It's just the right hight and helps save my duff knees! Just sent you an email jonny. sent while pretending to do something important on my mobile.
  18. Good to meet you too at last, steady ride home with that big lump following me along the road. You left just before Aaron ended up flat out in that muddy puddle he was so enjoying splashing in, now that would have been a good photo. My wife likes the 1 of the 2 off us, happy boys out playing with their toys. sent while pretending to do something important on my mobile.
  19. Early chip body on my 130, lid lifts up and the wings are hinged so fold up to hold open the top, all from old reclaimed road signs. sent while pretending to do something important on my mobile.
  20. Going too be 3 lanes soon so having to clear everything for the extension works. They have had a johndeer forwarder with bruks chipper on the job for last few weeks. sent while pretending to do something important on my mobile.
  21. Split oak dismantle at the side of the road, nice clean but was worth having away in 1 bit so winched it up the ramps. sent while pretending to do something important on my mobile.
  22. Thought that stop go had speed restrictions on them now or that might just be a local thing? sent while pretending to do something important on my mobile.
  23. Richmond surrey or richmond north Yorkshire? If it's Yorkshire I'd be interested in talking to the new owner about having a watch of it working as would like to upgrade the rg13 this year. sent while pretending to do something important on my mobile.
  24. If you are lifting lots of small stuff don't over fill the grab because most don't maintain pressure so can open slightly and you end up with a big game of pick up sticks, stay away from low branches as it's surprising how smaller branch it takes to rip a pipe of without you noticing. When unloading watch you don't pull the bolsters out as the rest of the load can spill. Smooth slow multi lever movement is more productive and better for the machine than fast thrashing about with lots of revving. Always turn towards you exit while empty and load on the way out, less chance of getting stuck that way and easier to see backwards when empty. sent while pretending to do something important on my mobile.
  25. That could have been me, it's the stop switch of a t540xp, ordered if from my local dealer for a whole 12quid ish, all you need to do is swap 1 of the spade connections on the saw to a larger size (halfards) and push it back into the housing. sent while pretending to do something important on my mobile.
