  1. Take it the nurse was a little tasty
  2. Well done young man, I hate those skinny slippery trees! Lemsip all the way for me, just don't use the same cup for your coffee later or it'll have a very strange taste to it!
  3. My thoughts exactly! Main man in the Machinery shop will be getting a call Monday morning and prob be getting the bit posted out, after all that's why I payed 20quid more for the saw than online price. :what:
  4. D A yes they do. Rich they not fiddly little blighters like the stihl caps, they just screw in like the original 1's jjust easier
  5. On a smaller note today I dropped into my local dealer to get the little rope loop for my t540xp which I'd had a letter saying it was a recall part and they had 1 for me. They could not just hand it to me to fit myself so I'll have to go back again with the saw so a compliant saw fitter can take out 1 screw and then replace 1 screw?????
  6. You will love the warm hands! The caps are brilliant, all my husky's have them now even the 390xp.
  7. That's what the blowers for Always have spare food in your climbing bag, just incase. Ring up timber on a tarp not on the gravel drive. Overprice thorn topping jobs Don't get court pissing behind the shed. A little through bag On your harness then clip to rope end when throwing and it will pull it back down easier. Pay the little bit extra and get heated handles on your saws, you won't regret it!
  8. Yes drums all round but apart from a little pull to the right which is easily held if your expecting it I've no issues with the brakes, even managed to do a stoppy with mine when it has no body On before conversation.
  9. I'll be getting these boys in again in the future that's for sure, and they have a bigger crane 69ton metre!
  10. Stripped this big old chestnut before Christmas and got back to sort the pole today, said to the driver " do you want it in 3 bits or will it handle it in 2?" "as it is Will do! " 4ton is he thinks,.
  11. My Mrs has her cs 30 31 32, Met through work as she was a conservation officer, did quite a bit of field work with me in the early days but now mostly doing the harder job of Mum and keeping an eye On my shocking paper work
  12. But did he sign for a new 1? Impressive bit of grinding
  13. That's who I got mine from, good to deal with and very helpful for parts
  14. Carry about 2.5 ton and loaded I think 22-25to gal but ain't worked it out properly, I should really for further away jobs.
  15. About the same as landy, whatever that is
  16. Ok, not stuck just loss of forward motion, it was propper full of cedar chip as in shut 1 back Door and keep blowing it in till it falls out then put some more in with a shovel full Half lift up solid top works well for me but then again most timber go's into the ifor behind the landy.
  17. Looks good signed up Johnny Sorted a lid yet for the chipbox? Love mine and has proved itself again and again over the last month or so on storm damaged trees although I did get rather stuck last week on a damp playing field and had to be towed by a discovery, ow the shame
  18. Don't joke I know of two that have!
  19. But at well over twice the cost not within everyone's budget. Cracking chipper though, used 1 on a 2150mog once and if you got it into the rollers it ate it!
  20. Very good on hardwood brash but has a bad habit of bundling up conifer behind the rollers if the blades are dull and wrapping stringy stuff like willow around the top roller. Company I worked for had 2, 1crane fed on a t160 and the outher on a 1650mog. If I had the need for a chipper in this size range it would prob be my 1st choice!
  21. Both????
  22. How's Mr G taking it?
  23. You mean it's not normal too make your own little sound affects as you work????
  24. Cedre tidy up after pre Christmas storms, after getting the rb bogged and nearly loosing the disco and trailer down a banking another extraction option was needed for all the timber, Matty loved it!
  25. Petzl tibia xp, brilliant white light with different settings long life and can be charged up with a mini usb in the truck, worth every penny! This tree was similar to yours with a 4ft stem that you could walk under, persisting it down and very slippery verges!
