  1. That just shows how pictures can be deciving 1 pick, Yeh it's a ok size tree, last pick with the 880 For#### that's a decent size chunk of tree, cool photos
  2. More likely a snapped clutch spring or crud build up in the clutch drum.
  3. Hmm, I'll stick to hiring in a 3ton bobcat thanks.
  4. Had a little hang in 1 while I was at gustharts getting 1 of my lads some new gear, neither of us liked it and he opted for a vaga plus harness.
  5. Is that the 1 that been for sale on eBay for a while? Just got it Ian? Edit, just seen it's your mates.
  6. Better quickly add, check the wife isn't standing behind you while you watch.
  7. Think that was 1 of these for accessing the tree. Enjoy. Strap on a Wraptor - with the Wraptor Girls:
  8. Sneaky peak of quite a few cool toys in that video, really enjoyed watching that 1 but I feel it was slightly spoil by the short cameo from a sthil top handle
  9. With an otter box on that thing you'll need a second rucksack and a sherpa just to carry your phone :-P
  10. Grand job, so nice when it turns out to be something simple that costs nothing but a bit of time to fix.
  11. The old analogy of those that can no longer do - teach, well that's half my plan and the other is get the business to a point where I can have others capable of doing these things while I supervise or am doing less strenuous activities. 3 years isn't that long to be hurting yourselfunless you have been unlucky, 17 years is just say starting to show on me now.
  12. That's not a phone that's a wide screen TV! Thought my experi was big...
  13. When I 1st went full time about 3years ago I'd charge £100 a day just for sitting in a loader or a digger on the local estate as a fill in when nothing ells on and they were quite happy with that and involves no cost to me apart from getting there which is about 5mile. Now I occasionally get asked to do the odd day on the forwarder or loader if a few wagons coming in for biomass and they are short handed but charge £160 and still happy also normally have 2 lads out doing something ells. Also get free tipping on this estate and get proper rates for all there arb work so worth keeping in.
  14. It is not good enough to give simple instructions that can be understood by most, you must give clear instructions that simply cannot be misunderstood by any! Montgomery I think.
  15. I was lucky enough to win 1 in this year's raffle and think it's excellent and find it has a lot of advantages over a bigshot in that it packs away much neater but I did have to do a temporary modification with some tape to stop the rubber flying out the hooks every time I took a shot. For high shots it's really made things more accurate and a lot less frustrating apart from 1st shot into a big cedar which sailed perfectly over the branch I wanted returned without problems to the ground only to find my climbing rope was about 5m too short once I'd pulled it up
  16. Was tempted, only problem is where to put the bait box and flask and I'd need a smaller groundy. Bit more economical than my normal stuff ;-)
  17. Shout very loud and hope? ;-)
  18. Get some chip sides on this beast and a cs100 behind, perfect fruit tree pruning set up.
  19. Yeh that's the iron horse in the 1st picture Iron Horse Sensative Thinning Job:
  20. Ok we will stay small.
  21. Here you go Paul, the daddy of skidders
  22. Ow yes!
  23. Where the rod from the stop bar go's into the box on the top next to the button, check it's not sticking bit of wd40, then take the cover off and check a wire hasn't come astray. The quadchip is ment to be able to outfeed at tickover which leads me to think more likely a sticky switch up top. Worst case it's a sticking hydraulic solenoid. Keep us posted.
  24. Thought about 1 a while ago that you could remove the tub and high tip and fit a hydraulic winch and an upturned small timber grab so basically creating a mini clambunkskidder for long brash.
  25. Liked that and hit the subscribe button for future installments, that's not babying a saw it's just treating it well. Only ob is groundys need lids on at ALL times and watch the angle of your side strop, once it the gets steeper drop it to the lower D's on the treemotion and it'll feel a lot more comfortable. Let's see some better picture of the arm art
