  1. Normal wrong as you've overly complicated a situation ;-)
  2. Just don't leave them on overnight or might not be there in morning like my tripod ladders.
  3. Now that's just showing off!!
  4. Few from today's storm damage files, was able to lift it a little with the winch then actually stand it back up once the top was removed, not a single tile broken on the church but driveway has seen better days ;-)
  5. Now the fun bit! You lads had it good yesterday being in the workshop, nearly called in to say hello as did a roadside callout a few miles away at constable Burton but then got called to another then another...... Remember the golden rule and you'll be fine. Think twice cut once
  6. Yes 57plate td5 in that one jon, don't think there much point in spending too much on performance when it's the sort of vehicle you don't want to be going fast and find a corner because you won't make it! Plenty of other things to do to it before messing with performance too much.
  7. Any1 spotted this digger, forwarder, skidder combo machine before. EMBs ELLIATOR - 2 Kobelco NH Holzrücken Forwarder …:
  8. I'm so sorry arbtalker, blame jon! He made me do it! Do not click below if of a nervous disposition. George Michael - Everything She Wants (Live at Ea…: http://youtu.be/BDbQHezDg6U Wham! - Club Tropicana:
  9. Sorry to hear that tom but at least you didn't get totally cleaned out thanks to your neighbour, thieving gits making the most if the wind to hide there noise again!
  10. Dress them in rags and get them to ask if you get the job of the nice people will we be able to have bread with our water tonight, works every time;-) But no seriously it s just a.case of fitting in pricing as and when around everything else including child care and thats true for client and contractors these days as we are a 7 days a week society now.
  11. Same as ham, normally a good time to catch people in but always start by asking if it's convenient to talk, call in etc. Often end up taking 1 of my kids out with me and combining a pricing run with a trip to swimming pool or ice cream place.
  12. Guess I'll be making lots of pricing phone calls tomorrow.
  13. Quite liked the look of these very similar machines from fuelwood and wilsons recon they could easily be made to be mounded on some kind of frame then onto the truck.
  14. Ahhhh might give him a call Monday for hire prices because realistically he's not that far from me, orange plant used to hav a boxer but think that went a few year back.
  15. Going to have to look into seeing if any1 in our are has something like it on a hire fleet as got a good weeks worth of job's it'd be ideal on and could just be the push to decide.
  16. Nice, I wanted 1 of the little Loders before now I really REALLY NEED 1! That would have made yesterday so much easier and quicker clearing everything off roads.
  17. Ah well might give Jim a call on Monday. Just need to find a flow rate for the rb pump somehow and get a 2nd line fitted off the winch circuit.
  18. Looks solid Elliott but probably a bit big and heavy for the rb and a bit overkill for how many logs I plan on doing, ie less than 50m2 of arb wast timber.
  19. Riko UK - A9V500PI - Vertical log splitter for tr…: Yes they still do it Chris, looks quite a good machine for the money, is it actually this quick or is tractor in vid at full throttle to speed it up?
  20. It involves bodily extremity and the Logspitter!! Yes Mr shires I know, 1st check insurance, then saving then I guess available time with no invoices but for how much of the replacement value I don't know, harder situation than the normal you bend it you mend it things we normally encounter!
  21. Flipping hop so, he's ment to be looking into it and letting me know, be nice if it's a new for old policy but got a sinking feeling won't be covered as won't be specified on the policy.
  22. Unfortunately lent it to a lad who helps me near bishop, went from his garage along with 2 motorbikes and a few saws of his. £2370 for a new 1 but was about 8years old but still in very good working order so not quite sure how to handle the situation at moment.
  23. Well last week my Thor splitter got nicked so looking at options for replacement. Two options are self contained with engine or modifiable to plum into the hydraulics on my rb and possibly carry on the front for the odd time we need it on site. I like splitting at a comfortable hight not on the floor and a decent sized table so everything won't fall strate off as soon as it's split. Min 8ton splitting force as anything lower is a bit feeble I think and a decent size knife as didn't like the 1ns fitted to the oxdale machines.
  24. Sorry any pictures of it were on the old pc which is defunkt. Now looking at options for a replacement but has to be 2 handed as paying people to use it.
