  1. Same lot, also very funny! Goths dancing to "Shake it off" by Taylor Swift: http://youtu.be/rFp0sknx-5Q Nice find devil, not going to ask how you found it ;-)
  2. Could you not get a decent sized machine in or something ;-)
  3. From full tree to last picture between 9 this morning and 4.30 tonight for 3 of us on site, all chip removed, rb44 and ifor trailer behind landy sharing the load having my own cherrypicker helps like! Will stick on some pictures of the timber stacks and trunk tomorrow when it's down.
  4. Big beech dismantle today, deceptively big tree with so much timber in it. Back tomorrow to section the trunk. About 11m3 of chip out of it and left a lot of smaller branchwood that normally we'd have fired through as that's all stopping.
  5. That's 1 big ass crane!
  6. Would have done on most trailers but this thing was built twice as strong as it needed to be! Twas quite a few years ago now and that trailer is long gone, now the problem is remebering to lock the steering drawbar so it doesn't wander out the sides
  7. Did the same to a 60 sign with stabiliser leg on a farmi forwarding trailer that used to creep down while travelling.
  8. "Bugger": this'll explain
  9. Well done, didn't even know your partner was expecting. Do you have a name yet for him bud? Make the most of the next few weeks and help mum all you can, she deserves it ;-)
  10. I know what your saying but we went carefully and used a reasonable size lump, just wanted to have a play and let Ben have a go as hed never actually see this model grinder before. Next week it'll be out in anger as long as this snow disappears as won't grind when snowing as clean up is almost impossible.
  11. Dean was kind anough to bring me my new toy today, so failing any stumps to do strate away a sacrifice of a ring of prime ash firewood became my target for a play ;-)
  12. I would if I could read what size the fuel filter is but it's just green as came from an ex army source....
  13. Ugly lime with some interesting gonads ;-)
  14. Anybody happen to know the filter numbers for the engine and fuel filters on an rb44 forgot to note them down last time I ordered them.
  15. All tipped off now sorry, blame the app as never warns you about getting near the load limit.
  16. Remote controlled chipper mover: This'll be better than me trying to explain it.
  17. Do you put the aluminium ring on the plastic shaft or not bother, going to have to stick it into the wedge head at today every time I hit it it bounced out which was very annoying!
  18. Strange timing as was just looking at an impact rench in my local saw shop this afternoon and bloke there said don't be tempted to use it for the op's porpoise for just said reason.
  19. Yeh that too, the joy of a democratic society we each get to choose and be counted.
  20. Someone to blame, hide behind or a way of explaining our own shortcomings. Or possibly just an excuse not to work Sundays ;-)
  21. Yes you do, cut the stitches on the tail end and slide it off, I've replaced my 1 with 5m of teckion which is actually much nicer and smoother than the original rope. Now also have a 2.5m length and swap about depending on the job.
  22. Lean wasn't as bad as pictures look but wind changing direction mad for a few stressful moments. It's a 20ton stubby jack and not much it won't lift, also had winch on the rb44 pulling but was just dragging truck across the wet grass which was interesting, should have taken ground anchor!
  23. Dropping a big ash today, forgot the top plate for the jack which made things a little interesting along with a gusty wind that decided to change direction mid way through the back cut trying to push it back towards the road. Lovely grain and a lot sounder than the survey suggested!
  24. You sir are a genius Why didn't I think of that Even if it's just to lift it up to get restraints cables/chain/strap type things on to hold it for transport, Might get some slightly longer arms yet so the top link is at a better angle but need to sort the holding cables 1st.
  25. 1164, nice beast. One of the 1st forwarders I ever used. 1 was a winch setup but pulled an old yellow botex and the other was like yours but with extra wide tires which were kind to the ground but not to gate posts.
