  1. Quick question, if you use the winch on the smart winch to lift a limb from say over a roof can you still lower this section using the winch as the bollard or do you need to always use the outer collar? I get the bit about dynamic loading the winch drum with drop shocking it being potentially destructive but in lighter rigging isn't it the advantages of these types of device to be able to pre tension, lift and then lower all in 1 sequence? Mostly asking as really fancy 1 for the big takedowns we seem to be getting more of these days and now my lads are much more competent and experienced I feel it could be a big benefit to us. Any advice welcome.
  2. Most of that had boards onto of the grass so easy to clean off then a beast of a blower to push rest into the boarders then cover with grindings as a mulch to help keep weeds down as woman who has just got the house hates gardening. Twas almost spotless when we left I should add.
  3. I climb ddrt so half that as rope doubled over to point last branches stripped off. So more like 70 - 75ft
  4. Big western red with tight access today, luckily the hb20 with duels off scraped down the side to grind the stump and decided to mill the trunk into 6x6 beams to use in the yard instead of just ringing it, was deceptively tall as when I came down to help clear a backlog of brash my rope (37m) was only just say long anough.
  5. Like that Pete, looked into getting sides made from alloy planking for my tt105 with barn doors on the back and actually didn't work out too ridiculously expensive but never seem to have the time and the money to do it at the same time.
  6. Now you're really going to have to modify the top of your chipbox. Look very professional outfit now, well done.
  7. Cracking little chipper, Should do you proud.
  8. About 4.5 on the speed, lob it in and stand well back. DO NOT get infront of the discharge spout, most chippers hurt if you do this 1 shoots to kill! 😁
  9. Your loss on the pies, they are good from that provider of pastry delicacy's. Forst gave me the option of that hopper but went for the folding 1 as the arbortrolly fits in perfectly so comes out even more now.
  10. Pruning spikes I hope bud... You will love the TR8 Paul, absolute beast of a machine! Hope you enjoyed the noted pie shop while parked up thismorning, good growlers!
  11. Cedar, Strom damaged tree from a while back.
  12. Sort of work but two photos from today of our stand at reeth show from about and a big table I milled as a demo. Photo of whole stand ain't worth posting as was persisting it down and all blury.
  13. That was tiger tight dropzone! Cool work but had to turn 1st tune off as not my style. Love the comment about free roof sweeping service, thought the TV Arial was going to cop it at 1 point like 😜
  14. Nowt wrong with a bit of riggley tin.
  15. Few carvings done today for a school and arbortrolly showing yet another use.
  16. Fantastic build quality and ability but probably the worst finish on the market. Capable of clocking up thousands of hrs but look like they have done just that after about a year. If you can go for the 220 as the extra size makes sense, almost looked at 1 myself.
  17. Sweet, rings already out of mine as it's a 540xp so just need a spare crab and sorted 👍
  18. I like that darrin as I spent to much time cursing my saw lanyard when taking it off when I'm using saw from the mewp. Skyloteck I guess have them, yes?
  19. Yeh but this 1 is 73k but was 80odd a while back 😜
  20. But then it'd have be quite a short 10min film instead of dragging it out for over 9hrs.
  21. Jims your man if and that's a big if you can find him. Think craig Johnson still carries out inspections as well.
  22. Legend in his own lunchtime that lad, buger broke my ribs once when he landed on top playing rugby, great oyk!
  23. At least he kept the family safe Property can be repaired.
