  1. My 1 definitely says x on it
  2. See, told you I might be wrong 😜
  3. No worries, the beast that landed yesterday has x on it as I'm not entirely sure antal make that size ring as a normal item but only for extreme arborist supplies, might be wrong but sure I'd heard it somewhere.
  4. 14, 16, and possibly 18mm used. Locking brummel splice.
  5. Voice activated. We were just chatting away like we were stood next to each other. 550ish Inc for 3 plus defs all set up to clip on and go. Was so easy today as we were cutting above the live carriage and the lad in the mewp couldn't see if any traffic was coming, just a quick clear, Yeh, crash. Easy.
  6. Just got a beast ring from treekit, not sure they sell the tht but worth a call anyway. Easy enough to slice them on and done quite a few for myself.
  7. Should also add this was in the box which could be very expensive as it's so easy to spot things that you didn't realise you needed, that's need not want - need! 😉
  8. Thanks to treekit we as a team of 3 are now like little voices in each others heads as we work, got a set of 3 sena smh10 Bluetooth headsets fitted to msa chipper muffs. Used them today on a deadwood over a narrow Road which made traffic management tricky but with these communication was so easy and clear. Really looking forward to seeing how it helps on a big rig down dismantle. Cheers lads 👍
  9. What exactly is ment by technically evaluated? Curious as becoming a qualified assessor is something I would like to ad to my skill set and business.
  10. Most of the time it has a 28" on for general arb work but for a lot of cross cutting or felling medium hardwood the 20" delivers a ridiculous amount of power especially with an extra tooth on the rim sprocket 😉 Standard bar never stood a chance and spit the nose sprocket out after about a weeks felling big pine.
  11. But for us dyslexics dark them is so much easier to read or at least to me it is, white words on a black background are far easier to read quickly, if you can't make out the author just tap the post and it go's blue so easier to spot.
  12. Same as Mark but also got a 20" for my 390xp which on a big saw has had some abuse and lasting far better than anything else. Just put a 36" on the 088 so see how that go's. Went through so many bars on the 540xp it was ridiculous couldn't get 2chains worn out before the husky bars were shot or falling apart.
  13. She needs a winch on that front bumper Ian to make her a proper work horse, mine got decorated recently, proper get out my way bright now! 👍
  14. Yeh swapped over to the large DMM and 20mm rope as couldn't let the chunks run much because of the wall and roof hence the amount of stem wobble at the end. Just had to get enough hight of it so when I felled the pole it didn't hit the culvert for the pond.
  15. Ow yes, Even better with thinner rope in it Paul,
  16. I like them as they are lightweight and easy to reposition and ad a little friction to the top of the system and seem to have made it easier for the lads running the ropes. Don't use them for big blocking down as swap over to the big DMM block to give a better bend radius especially if the 20mm rope is in play. Just ordered another beast ring from treekit as splicing up a retrievable rigging sling with it which hopefully will be quite useful for a few upcoming jobs. Also a dam site cheaper than blocks to make up several kits.
  17. Spoke to my local dealer yesterday about getting a full pallet of it delivered directly but he recond with the discount I get I'd not save anything apart from the convenience of not having to pick any up but as I get 9 or12 at a time and normaly pass the dealer at least once a fortnight that's not a problem. Converted 2 of my subbies now and got a regular client onto the blue cans for his classic bikes.
  18. Cheers Jon, Yeh that's a good lump of willow but have actually shifted bigger on a redirected pull to clear roads on callous without any problems, well apart from stopping the truck moving first that is. Got a few videos to do showing a bit more of our gear working rather than just climbing stuff but finding time is always a battle.
  19. Had 1 for a little over a year and lasted very well but don't expect it to keep you dry, shoulders start out shower proof but not for long but as a general work and climbing jacket it's been good and comfortable. Just got a arbpro jacket from gustharts and that's very comfortable and actually quite waterproof, just about to give it a good nikwax spray to improve that.
  20. Sean I'd have that picture on my wall quite happily, you have a real Tallent and you should look at getting a exhibition together. I've done a bit of work for a local landscape photographer, Jo Cornish, both tree work and some stuff for in the gallery and have regularly seen guest exhibitors and belive me you are up there with these guys in capturing images and probably better than some. Well done sir 👍
  21. Always a way round these things eh. Only the 1 camera at the moment and then some editing stuff not in the order taken and a lot of sending the camera up and down.
  22. That could be the music I guess, sorry. Had 1 blocked in Japan before as well.
  23. Got that on film as it was the 1st big top that lad who works for me had rigged out like that, just tried to get a few different shots this time.
  24. And smartwinch, some amount of money's worth of gear on that job! Nicely edited.
  25. It's in Middleham where all the racehorses get trained up our way, you can spot the old castle in the distance aswell. Ian Brown from the stone roses Jon, daughter loves those tracks 😁
