  1. I note your comment about the machine " got burnt out" Years ago I was using a local guy who ran two 1994 case backhoe loaders, his two sons drove them and he did the muck away. One night they parked both diggers up in a council yard. The CCTV captured the moment one machine, 6 months old, burst into flames in the middle of the night, which was handy for the insurance claim. Luckily, the other digger was parked some distance away and unscathed. Seems they had some electrical issues!
  2. Hope so. I have one co,ing in June. I looked at the man version, but it only has a 2.2l and everyone said its crap for towing
  3. I have had cabstar all my working life. Since they stopped making them, Nissan have almost washed their hands of any problems. I agree with you. Nothing but trouble. Seems to be all ad blue related.
  4. I contacted a local one to where I will be working on 6th Jan. Seems to be just a householder looking for mulch. They have said they will take it, so happy days. It seems to work for me!
  5. I have found it very useful, and I have recently had people on there asking for a load of chip for their gardens. You explain it's a full truck load, get there to find a tiny front garden with a one car space. One tipped, the whole garden is swamped, but they still seem pleased! It's something for nothing I suppose. It still amazes me the people on Facebook trying to sell it for £100 a load! No one should ever pay for chip!
  6. I can confirm this guy knows his stuff. He did my ms200t for me, and it's a bit of an animal now!
  7. No need to buy a sub 750 now😄
  8. Cat. Has predictive text, camera, although it's not great, but I have had this 5 years now without issue. I like the fact I can set it to turn off automatically at night , and on again in the morning. Battery still lasts well. It's got bluetooth too
  9. Well good news. It appears from initial findings it just needed a new spark plug. I brought a service kit from l and s engineers, fitted it all, and it fires almost first pull now!
  10. If you want it to pull heavier, a re map may be in order
  11. Youd be surprised the number of times I have asked for serial numbers from machines off Ebay, only to be met with silence, or told to *uck off. The later of which, when reported to Ebay, got the sellers account removed 😄
  12. Good thought! Will check tomorrow
  13. Any ideas as to why my ts410 requires so many more pulls to get it to start than before? I mean so many that I nearly give up.once its running its fine, and it starts easy when warm
  14. That's not a good idea. You are essentially weakening the ramps in many places. I wouldnt want to drive up them with max capacity
  15. Yes. Especially when it not only costs time to repair, and money, but a pain in the arse when it happens in an awkward place, usually on a muddy building site
  16. First option is better. Although I have realised that it sometimes happens on the return stroke. Would a relief valve on the pipe from the pump to the manifold not be best?
  17. Another annoying problem with the crushers As a bit of background, the jaws in these things is computer controlled.,its basically a hydraulic ram that goes back and forth attached to a crushing jaw. The clever part comes with the computer, where is firstly will always fully open itself when you first press the button, then it comes fully forward until it reaches max pressure, then an electronic pressure switch send a signal to the computer to tell the ceetop valve to change direction. It then comes half way back, before fully forward again, then fully back. Now the problem. And this is a design problem as it happens with all my machines. Very occasionally, the computer doesnt get a signal, or it just decides to ignore it, to change direction. The ram is at maximum stroke and cannot continue to go any further forward. So then the pump is working harder and harder to a point where it stalls the engine. Effectively, its pushing oil where it cannot go. If this continues to happen, eventually the drive coupling between the engine and pump snaps. I then have to go out and remove the engine to get at it to repair. No easy or quick job. Why oh why isnt there some way of fitting something to stop this, like in a digger, if you pull the boom all the way in and hold the lever, yes the revs drop a bit, but it clearly has a relief valve to divert the pressure. There is one fitted on all the machines on the manifold under the ceetop, but its adjustable and is linked to the pressure of the jaw crushing . I need an expert who can look at the whole system ti see if they can retro fit something!
  18. Its possible, but they use up so much stored energy coming out of hibernation early , the flying often some distance, they tend to perish
  19. 12 so far buzzing around my conservatory, and only 6 baskets of logs I'm from the shed. They get released, but they wont survive. Not been stung yet
  20. Good machine for 2 weeks after xmas!
  21. Have you looked into my original theory? The slider part of the hitch could be bent slightly so it doesnt retract fully when the brakes applied with a heavy load, hence the problem
