  1. Not sure if any of you guys can help, yesterday when pulling away from a roundabout, loud bang, then my engine sounds like the exhaust has gone, but with a bag of nails thrown in. No engine light present. Exhaust fine, sounds awful ,and no power up a hill, barely got over 20. Truck recovered on a low loader and is sat at the garage till Monday when they open. 2 years old, 30k on the clock. Turbo blown??

  3. Got a days work for a groundy in hemel on Tuesday. PM me if interested
  4. So if the key is turned off and removed the hour clock runs?
  5. The problem could be in the loom from the ignition switch. Mine was discovered under the footplate!
  6. Had a similar issue with the kubota. Working loom had got corroded giving a bad earth. Try earthing out the starter and check neg on battery terminal
  7. Ah, but what if I had not pointed it out??
  8. I know. The Mrs spotted it straight away! If she hadn't, I might have got away with it
  9. Got fed up with the rain splashing in the front of my shed, so made these simple doors up. So far, so good. Managed to make one incorrect, so you will note the last door doesn't line up. I dont think the logs will complain!
  10. Nope. That's classed as commercial waste. One of my neighbours was burning tires, the local environment agency told me that householders can burn what they want, providing its not done on a commercial scale, ie. Bringing waste from your business premises to burn
  11. I fail to see why burning treated timber is an issue when you can legally burn tyres in your back garden!
  12. Hydraulics
  13. The pavers need to be thicker than 50mm, which a lot of them are these days, and if they didnt use terram in the construction, you will, make ruts
  14. Dont forget the resale value will be more, so although the diesel is more in the first place, you get it back when you sell it
  15. It needs an eco eye like eliet so it auto throttles down when it senses no load
  16. It's a lot more thirsty I gather. Be prepared to rock up at a petrol station more often!
  17. What's the white smoke that occasionally puffs out the chipper spout?
  18. Utter bilge pith. I have tested it in my own garden. Of anything it was far more beneficial to the soil than other mulch, but as already said, leave it a year before putting it on
  19. Never heard of that before, but I am using the agricultural grade stuff, it's not designed for high speed
  20. Buy some gloop that pumps into the tyre. I use air seal products stuff, it seals all punctures and never gives trouble.
  21. Pete Mate who has a navarra had a similar issue with eating adblue. He thought it was normal and brought a 205ltr barrell. Nissan re programmed the ECU and it's now back to normal. My cabstar has an adblue issue, redactant heater according to the engine code. Could be a blocked injector, but will find out Wednesday.
  22. Any one here can help with a go pro question? I have just brought a hero 8, with the intention of time lapse recording , mainly the landscape side. Twice now I have set it up on the tripod, set it to record every 2 minutes, then at the end of the day I find the battery has died, and all I have is 2 seconds of film! Is it just that the batteries on these things are useless, and I need to plug in an external battery pack ?
  23. Kubota. Built to last
