  1. Have you got the tipper yet then? For disposing of all the 'arisings' whatever they may be. Have you seen 'Last of the Mohicans' by the way.
  2. Ah. Just realised. It's not west it's more east.
  3. Beaver plant at Stamford bridge. Alan, he's got a few sizes.
  4. I'd like to see the log splitter that made that pretty pattern.
  5. What about brash dragging too? This sounds too good.
  6. And Asians too. Remember where the stuff comes from. Proper stuff.
  7. Forget the snow and job and all that. Those cakes look good quality tastey treats. But that tea looks fantastic. Was it Yorkshire or tetley?
  8. So who's gonna be the first to trade the POV helmet camera and do a nice big take down from the point of view of a passing mini chopper. I wonder if they would like someone to do a review for them!!
  9. Cheers for the input. Still not sure though. I was hoping to have some sort of bracket attched to the chassis so hopefully strength wouldn't be a problem although I didn't really think about the chassis actually breaking. I just wondered if it would have the hydraulic power to shift a full weighty trailer up a field. I was once talking to somebody who said they had done it with an ifor tipper, down into a wood, filled up with chip and came out again no bother. That's the aim but it's only one person. And how many times can it be done before something breaks or wears out.
  10. how big/heavy a trailer is it. A 3ton mini digger is twice the weight and would probably have quite a bit more power.
  11. I'll just get a couple of strong straps and you can pull it out for me. Wahey!! Saved some money.
  12. For a while now I've been thinking of putting a tow hitch on my A530t. Originally it was to make it easier moving the trailer around once you get to a job rather than heaving it around by hand. But I also thought about those caravan mover things. Anyway, the other thing which would be useful would be to pull a tipping trailer with chip in it, out of the site and to the vehicle. Just wondering if anyone has any experience of this. How does it cope with weight and what about uphill up a field for example.
  13. I've got a small ISC which I can sell you. No idea how much really. Definitely not been abused. Only used about 5 times. Make me an offer if you want.
  14. I think I would be tempted to take the cash and pull em out whilst calling the cops. What can they accuse you of doing illegal. Now that would definitely make them think twice next time.
  15. I use an oval with the gate side on the exhaust side which makes it easier to slide over a non locking carabiner on the treemotion so it's not dangling all the time on climbs. And an oval can go round the handle of all the ther stihls too.
  16. if you hold your finger on it they should all start to wobble. if there is a black X in the top corner then you touch it to delete. some of them you cant though. you can also move them around. this is on an iphone but i'm sure they are the same.
  17. My thoughts too Dean. I've been thinking a 4wd tipper will be needed but after seeing pics of yours slipping its gonna be a pain choosing what to go for. Just ordered some new tyres for the Hilux to replace the crap road tyres and I'm tempted to get a tipping trailer just to get something done over the next month or so if it all carries on much longer.
  18. Everyones too busy working out the building properties of snow. But I do see your point. Cheers for the read. I've got nothing else to do at the mo.
  19. Where did you get that beauty. I want one. Ive done my own drive and lane about 9 times over the last few weeks just to stop it getting compacted and remaining as ice. Takes about 2hrs and gets a bit tiring:thumbdown:
  20. Beaver plant for me too Bob. Its only 1 hour up the road from me so another 15 mins for you I suppose. And they know their machines well enough for any parts and servicing etc.
  21. I enjoyed that. Short and sweet.
  22. I hope you weren't ACTUALLY 'getting all excited' mate.
  23. Ive just managed to poke out a splinter of shell from under my thumb nail from last night. I feel all euphoric now its out. Time to start on a few more now I think, being slightly more careful when peeling this time.
  24. Sainsburys I'm afraid. The wife chucked em in and I thought it was silly but glad she did. Chucked about 7 or 8 in and they were great. Then had dinner. Then had a few more. So easy.
  25. Just tried this. Seemed to work a treat. Empty tin (baked bean type) with a handful of chestnuts in it with tin foil on nice and snug. Just stick a sharp knife through each nut a couple of times. And then sit it on the stove for about 20-30 mins should be enough. Apparently, if you leave one unspiked, it will let you know when the others are ready when it pops but I can't be bothered with the mess. Just spike em and a half hour Ish will do.
