    @sime42 all the HS2 costing and planning, like Crossrail, was based on figures before Covid, there is no financial basis now, for completing or even continuing with those projects, 15% or so currently being used, of the usable capacity, will never justify it. K

    Its a nice idea but glaciers, tides, migrating birds and continental winds have other ideas about what trees go where. Sadly UK For is poorly organised from the Top, largely on romantic ideas. Whats happening to that million trees planting wheeze? K

    @Paddy1000111 yr a very lovely man , however taking action on it can be construed as admitting liability. Yr man there now knows if he parks his car under Limes in Summer, his car gets dirty - his choice. If i jump off a cliff after watching my mate do it and breaking his legs.....

    Does the tree need reducing is always my first question - removing canopy content reduces the ability of the tree to feed itself. K

    Plus you have way different soil types in Aus, our wet/warm type is not ideal. Norway grows fast n shit. Might err toward Eucs as a nurse tree as getting fed up of Birch, planted everywhere n fails fast - passed a load of it down to Heathrow and it was riddled with Piptoporus 😕 K
