Well, up at mums. So not far. Marvelous tree stocks, quite randomly planted but Bird of Prey center was fab. Enthusiastic young girls with amazing range of hawks and owls. K

Must be able to knock something up with ground steel round bar n bushes , n threaded bar ? Loads of clever brackets on ebay. Making a silky sharpener fr my chain grinder tool with such stuff. K

I was looking at clips of B52 bombs hitting Vietnam and the pressure wave is quite clear in them. That's wot does the damage followed by the shrapnel n flying debris. However my thoughts are with those poor people and ain't they suffered enuff ? K

It can be corrected but that is a poor specimen. Mulch well and water correctly and prune to the form you would like it to be, K

@IronMike nature of the game really, Forestry stuff gets loaded / stressed 110%, which finds the weak link in anything , same with military kit . One test is go up on Salisbury Plain in winter , throw kit ( Tank , lorry , 4x4, AT missile etc ) in a bog , to freeze overnight then pull it out next morning n see if it works ! Glad your seeing a solution ahead K
