  1. Looks like a nasty place to have an injury and in over christmas, double ouch!! Hope op goes well and healing time is quick. Oh and do exactly what the doctors say to do, ie rest it!
  2. your right but I will take this opportunity to change it to 'boot up the arse' There are too many people these days that need a boot up the arse or a good swift kick in bollocks! From reading most of the for and against posts I have came to the conclusion that the main difference is that the against think he was throwing his weight about and bullying/picking on the teenager the ticket. The for don't think this and think his was/is the case. I totally agree that anyone truly using their size or strength be that physically or mentally should not be tolerated at all and deserve everything that the law can throw at them. But, I don't see that happening here at all, it's not like he just started picking on the teenager for no reason and decided he would just throw him off the train for the craick! If the teenager was injured it wasn't because some guy had thrown him off the train it's because he tried to dodge a train fare then thought he would give lip and cause a lot of nuisance to many people. Well that's the way I see it, if you behave like an arse don't expect to be treated fairly.
  3. Thanks, i stand uncorrected then.
  4. Oh, right I thought you were talking bollocks for a second there....
  5. You read my post all wrong, i suggest if it was an old dear instead of the big man.
  6. Youre kind couldn't have summed it up any better. Was thinking about this the other day. If it was an old dear who hit him with her hand bag and shoed him off the train she would have got a standing ovation, no doubt whatsoever.
  7. I'm fairly sure it has but you have me wondering now! Will have to check next year I know the 346 has and has the limiter caps, the 3120 is the only other husky I own so thought I would ask about that too but now I'm thinking it doesn't have limiters anyway. So then, does anyone know if the standard settings are one turn out if you remove the caps?
  8. I didn't think you could get a mig welder capable of truly welding 10mm running off a standard 13 amp plug?
  9. Now that's low. I think I would look into getting the cat bypassed and the ecu remapped. Would be cheaper than £1100 and at least it won't happen again!!!
  10. In general are H L screw settings on the husky carbs the same as the stihl ie remove the limit caps screw in then out one turn? I'm asking for a 346 and 3120. Thanks.
  11. I suppose it would be a start, why not? What on earth is the reasonable way to deal with it, wait for ages for the rail police while everyone else suffers due to his selfishness? Come on, get real he is a criminal so @@@@ him.
  12. Did you watch the video? Did that look like the actions of someone who forgot to buy a ticket or got on the wrong train? Who knows what the consequences of that little thiefs actions are. Someone suggested that the others on the train would be late to watch their favourite TV shows so what's the problem! I would havzard at a guess that with that many people delayed for that amount of time thier could easily be someone who was late to visit a loved one in hospital, late for a job interview, late to pick their children up late for etc etc etc. So how dare someone steal from all those passengers then have the audacity to give cheek and blatantly not care about his actions and the following consequences. Its people like him and people who support his 'human rights' that are destroying this country.
  13. Dinosaur farts. No smell, no mess and instant heat, I tell you its the future, i've felt it. Oh and its cheaper:thumbup:
  14. I hope the judge throws it out of court and puts a death sentence on the prosecution.
  15. It will indeed so make sure you advertise "NO VAT!!!!"
  16. I can see someone regretting that! Saves a good bit of time no doubt! Excellent legwork.
  17. My top 3 have already been called. Wonderful life National lampoons Christmas vacation Bad Santa. I see you can get wonderful life in colour now!
  18. There is definitely more money in repairs and sales than cutting and climbing ! I bet there's not many tree business owners taking that in never mind someone on the books. Back to the OP, sounds like an awkward job with scope for a few mishaps and delays which need factoring in.
  19. Looks like quite a clever setup to me. The only danger is he could fall onto the saw while cutting, but then you could do that using the saw the conventional way, probably more so as you would be swinging the saw about etc.
  20. Arr right thanks. I think it's time for me to start changing my working technique as I can do without another work related injury! Plus it doesn't arf hurt and cause problems when it starts but I've been lucky that it's not persisting ATM.
  21. What is it that causes TE? I mean is it more to do with clenching your hands for gripping or is it to do with moving your arm by the elbow joint? I hope that makes some sense to someone who can advise how to prevent it rather than cure(Although I have had quite a bit of pain in both elbows over time but it goes and comes randomly)
  22. Exactly my thoughts too.
  23. Purely out of interest what is the cost of doing it that way? I am always surprised that so many people seem to have problems getting paid. In 16 years I have only had one non payment (around £150 iirc) and only a few late payments that needed more chasing that I care to do. Two other companies went into liquidation when it was trendy to do so. but again it wasn't a big sum of money. For that reason I try to never worry about getting paid as It can just be another stress factor if you let it.
  24. Have a good one all.I know I will:thumbup: Although very disappointed in the lack of festive avatars! As far as I can see there's only me with a bit of festive cheer.
  25. I would spend the whole lot enjoying myself, which would probably be travelling around the world. The last thing I would do is invest in my crappy tree surgery business!
