  4. What size is it mate where and what cedar is it im shore i can help u out iv still got some to mill lol If ur thinking double ended milling u lose 18inch of the bar length to the 2power heads and the mill it's self

  8. I wont use anything else they are quit abrasive They are very quick at getting the chain sharp again

No just cleaned it up white spirt this saw will look very clean and new once done I dont think the saw has done much work may be a farmers saw that has bin kicked about more than used once she is running rite im going to buy a new 36inch bar for her was going to buy a 52inch gb bar but rob has taken them off his web site Im looking forward to getting all the bits in :thumbup:
  10. Iv got one the only time I use it is when the saw is on a mill overwise I use one of chainsawbars edge save files I like filing I think they cut better
  11. Thought I would share with eddy Iv ordered and brought all the spares I need This is a pic of it part cleaned up

Started taking it to bit scored piston witch I can get (pot is ok after learning a trick or 2 off spud ) Oil pump diafram Re coil cover witch iv brought OEM one Front Handel bar Going to do it up as it is Carb kit Bar tensioning screw The side plate that goes between the bar and side casting where the oil come out And new OEM chain side cover to make it look really sweet Mine has a big split in it and if I'm going to do this saw up it will be rite not bodged up Few more bit but don't need them just would finish the saw off
  13. im starting to enjoy working on this saw iv got a list of bits iv got to get now to get them and I hope with in 2 weeks I will be having a test run :thumbup:
  14. I would agree with the what old mill tree care just said I thought I could make one Cheeper than the arbor trolly as I thought it was over priced Now iv brought one I don't no why I wasted my time welding something up As the arbor trolly does the job better than anything I made

Cheers for the pm eddy Rite iv bin having a play yeh the chain oil pump the manual bit don't work have not tried it running Now inside the recoil cover there is a bit of metal with small teeth if u follow the rod it takes u to the choke Am I rite in saying the teeth with the bit of metal is a governor setting
  17. No got 2-3 small problem with it Oil pump don't work is the biggest one I will have it to bits and have a look The saw looks like its done very little work under the covers the paint work is like new I'm starting to get a good collection of big saws

  19. That 576 is a nice saw its just a wind up it keeps cutting out He only wants a bigger saw because he had a play with the 076 lol

  24. Until u come to buy parts uncle works on vans he told me the marks up on Nissan parts are more than Renault That's why I went for the master
  25. I've got a master had it 5 year only thing iv had to do on it was the clutch Over than that she has bin a top tipper I will be buying another one when I need a 2nd van or replace this one
