  2.:thumbup: nice one steve well done
  3. so what is the strength of the new zig zag anyone no the old one was 15kn witch I think is low when u think most the climbing gear/ Karabiners are rated to 22-25kn
  4. The only ones u can really get away with it is the old pots that have a cast iron sleeve in them If its light on the scoring Read what's on ur bench forum and look at spudulike posts he posted once in great detail how to clean up a scored pot with out doing any damage So u can re use it I would find the link for u but I'm stuck up a willow waiting for my groundy to clean up lol
  5. Don't hone the pot it's nickel plated u will only fetch the plating off (done it with a steady flex hon) Post pic of the inside of the pot on here and flick through what's on ur bench forum. It will tell u how to deal with ur problem if ur pot ent scrap
  6. I had a 026 pot set from them and the first clip I put in broke when I was trying to put it in so I used one of the old clips fine 3-4 tanks of fuel later went to the saw would not start so took it to bits (lucky) other Chineses pin had fell out lol I could not be bothered with the hassel of ringing them They would telling me I broke it its not there problem How do u prove that it's the product not the bloke that put the saw back together Fault I won't buy a Chineses pot again As said before u pay for what u get When u look at a OEM pot u can see alot of difference from a machining point of view is miles better the pistons fit in the pot better to

  9. now that's why we should all take are stuff back to a stihl dealer SO THEY CAN SELL U A NEW PRODUCT :sneaky2: rather than fix the one u have i no not all dealers are like this i think a big % are good service again spud was it the nice 032 u had

  11. if im walking a hedge I use a 200t look how I use the ladders matty i lean into the hedge i can reach about 4ft with out leaving the ladder I do most my hedges like is and just scythe the waste off i find this much easier than walking a hedge there was about 300m of conifer i cut out in 2 days on my own ps its the same place u done that willow for me

  15.
  16. I will get ripped for this but if u do a lot of 1 handing say a 200 it will get u in the elbow iv got a weak elbow so why not get a 150 get it ported and use it for say 50-60% of my jobs rather and a standard and leave it in the garage most the time I like my 200 but it plays on my elbow from time to time I was just looking at the option of taking the weight of my elbow
  17. try a 076 thats fun I see porting a saw as why not get the best out of a saw power to weight what's the point of lugging heavy stuff round a tree when u can port a light saw and get more power
  18. pair of jeans and trainers is just the job
  19. why port anything rich we can just be boring standard everything what's the point in F1, go karting or santa pod waste of time tuning things up ent it why do we bother in my working day I like things to be as light as they can be and cut as fast as they can makes my life easier and quicker so what if its just timing and a muffler mod it cuts faster and that's what every tree surgeon wants and now I will think about buying another of ur beloved stihl
