Cheers for the pm eddy Rite iv bin having a play yeh the chain oil pump the manual bit don't work have not tried it running Now inside the recoil cover there is a bit of metal with small teeth if u follow the rod it takes u to the choke Am I rite in saying the teeth with the bit of metal is a governor setting
  2. No got 2-3 small problem with it Oil pump don't work is the biggest one I will have it to bits and have a look The saw looks like its done very little work under the covers the paint work is like new I'm starting to get a good collection of big saws

  4. That 576 is a nice saw its just a wind up it keeps cutting out He only wants a bigger saw because he had a play with the 076 lol

  9. Until u come to buy parts uncle works on vans he told me the marks up on Nissan parts are more than Renault That's why I went for the master
  10. I've got a master had it 5 year only thing iv had to do on it was the clutch Over than that she has bin a top tipper I will be buying another one when I need a 2nd van or replace this one

  13. I brought my self a Nice old stihl 070 Always want a big old lump of a saw like the 070 so why the cash was there thought I would spend it :thumbup:

  17. I get about a bit ed lol I will have to look through some of my rigging pics see what I can find

Nearly everything can be milled mate even if the tree was 500yards from a road and u only have a small gate to go through It just a Q of how long it will take to mill And as for the size if u have a big enough bar on a Alaskan mill u can mill 72inch wide boards witch makes ur bit of timber look small
  19. The other thing mate is if u no how to mig weld stick with mig I use mig for most things I can arc weld just find the mig better at finishing and better at fine work What u welding mate If u got cast iron then arc
  20. Mig Matty up to 4mm U can weld with arc under 3mm but easier with a mig or tig welder Arc is mainly for big welds Look at the draper range they seam to be ok
  21. got cut up into rings :blushing: i managed to get 3 5-6ft lengths out for milling when did u do a welly mate see if i can sort the vid out over the next week i spent to long editing clips
