I'm thinking of putting 2 5ton ratchet straps in to the 2 trees to brace them together lower down now as they are birds of prey I would rather leave them alone Iv never bin in a place where I may have to take a tree down with a nest in and just wondered what to do and where to go So any links or info would be great I will have a look into natural England cheers
  3. iv had a look at a conifer that has failed into another tree where the is a kestrels nest im well aware of rules etc of nesting birds and the fines what i want to no is if the failed conifer is a heath and safety risk what can i do what are the channels i go through to remove this conifer my main aim is not to get in trouble

I'm with Matty my 357 is modded as much as it can be with out doing any pop up pistion etc Spud ported mine I don't think there would be much in my 357 on a 18inch bar and a 560 on a 18 inch bar but feel the 560 would still have the edge at the end of the day Now spuds pop up pistion is a different toy i don't think the 560 would out cut it but it would not be far behind Once I done the turning work spud come down my yard to cut some wood and that thin flys

  11. mine runs a 18 all the time best bar for it now where is that vid of the ash where ed gives up with his 660 on a 36inch bar and just lets me cut it with my 357 :lol:

Cheers chaps Just picking the last of my parts up from the post office so the rebuild starts tonite Don't think the flywheel could be much more unbalanced than it was :lol: People say that the bearings a crap on timberwolf but iv done searches on here looking for info on rebuilding it And found out the chipper iv brought 6weeks ago has bin running with fins missing for about a year Can't wait to get this sorted I might even get woodchip to the front of the van with out shovelling it there For anyone rebuilding a TW iv found out a bloke called Derek (chipper doctor) Is a nice bloke very helpfull and got me all the part I needed One of my mates sent a chipper into him to be rebuild come back a different machine and the price was good to
