  8. the usual charge would be be between £35 and £40 a bird...at least £700 worth...u paying cheque or cash. LOL shooting on these big shoots is expensive. My mate was helping out at 1 they shot 970 pheasants n 1 day.Cant beat a days shooting though

  19. didnt get a squirrel or any guinea fowl this year mate, meant to be shooting this Saturday but Matt ( tall dark hair guy) who was climbing with us at Hawes is off to Australia for 4 months next week, leaving party friday nite n Dumfries, dont think ill make Dunbar by 9am Saturday for shoot. cheers g
  20. heres our bag from our new years shoot, wild fowl were banned that day which was a shame as i have never seen so many woodcock in all my days. 10 came out of 1 small shelterbelt wood alone. 29 pheasants 11 pigeons 1 High crow
  21. high lift wedges would have been enough
  22. wood is wood, may sure its dry, u will burn more if r using softwood. Get it split and into woodshed asap.
  23. harvesters can do hardwood. the main trouble is with fork multi stem heads, u lose a load of produce, they really need clean straight stems
  24. must have left too thin a hinge tim.LOL
  25. maybe just a lorry driver in for wood
