  7. wood is wood, may sure its dry, u will burn more if r using softwood. Get it split and into woodshed asap.
  8. harvesters can do hardwood. the main trouble is with fork multi stem heads, u lose a load of produce, they really need clean straight stems
  9. must have left too thin a hinge tim.LOL
  10. i can understand that happening for nxt years sales, but cant really see any need for large increase to cover any vat on diesel. the higher the price goes, the more likelyhood of imports flooding into the UK or ur customers start using cheaper softwood options. Mr Arranwoodfuels must be licking his lips and thinking about going national shortly.
  11. in what way do u mean in tyransport costs?
  12. yes he will still have to pay the vat man more, hes selling it after 3rd january the vat on logs hasnt changed vat on beer has
  13. why have u gone up £10 from January, u must have processed and seasoned ur logs pre Jan vat increase, so ur only increase will be extra vat on ur diesel bill
  14. you will get them at ur local bearing shop, have u doen it before, change the shaft bearings?
  15. well make sure u get the right bearings, i am sure they have to be high speed bearings, check with orange plant or ur local timberwolf dealer.
  16. r u changing all the bearings on the shaft or just the 1
  17. Try timberwolf in Arbtalk Tech room
  18. been to madiera a while back....the airport runaway was short....i mean short.....bound to be longer now. i remember they have a lot of Eucalyptus trees, it was meant to keep the mosquitos away. i remember going to see a famous sheer drop, i almost froze to the spot. Beaches wernt up to much, Funchal nice at nighttime, food good especially if u like seafood
  19. if u have a few 357 saws swop the carbs about, sometimes does the trick
  20. he must have been up the tree already, i cant see his top cut, yuck cant watch it twice
  21. u can get a provisional operators license from the FC, not sure how long it lasts 6 months i think
  22. too far for me...but will interesting to see what prices they will make....not too much cash floating about, should be some bargains
  23. or take the spout off, and try move the flywheel back and forth( not around) it should be rock solid no play. u may have a bit of wire stuck in there, may be casusing the noise?
