  1. are the gates padlocked in to forest, is it direct to estate or thru management company, u have to try and put onus on them the only down side if it manual cutting u have no print out of whats being cut, ok if its by the harvestor

  3. america just part of the package no extra, but my brother lives there so its a bonus. theres only bt and o2 with broadband equipment in our local exchange, so sky and all the rest use bt equipment, was getting line capped when i was with sky last year with over capacity in the exchange, been much better now with o2
  4. i had a load rejected at UPM pulp mill at irvine, cutters were measuring with saw, pulp was too long, had to cut back the whole load, 27tons of 3 m takes a bit of hand balling:thumbdown:

  8. i did a site for the WT last year, all large bushes we cut off main stems at ground level, drill a hole in them and sprayed with round up, any small bushes under 3ft were sprayed as normal. with a follow up spray in the next year. It keeps the cost down and has worked well on this site. if u go to woodland trust website there is some info on rhroddie bashing

  10. best way to do it..is to work it out urself and then u will sure buy a top diameter log table......FC field book 1 is excellent beech and oak when green is almost cubic metre to 1 cubic tonne easiest way is to take some beech/oak of the same length, measure their top diameters (small end) cross check in table, add up and use 1 cubic metre, splitted it and bag it. hope that helps
  11. most artics carry 27 ton green legally...it really depends how dry the chestnut is, ........if its single stems thats on it, get ur measuring tape out when it arrives, not to difficult or long job if u have 15 to 20 stems to measure. my preference is for the weight ticket, and argue the price per ton cheers g

  18. norway spruce always been used for fencing, much the same as stika spruce in uses, tends to grow slightly slower, but mainly straighter in stems.
