  1. That type of smoker is a hot smoker. it should have come with two litle pans which you fill with meths you then light them and place them in the stand. The smoker goes on top and the sawdust goes in a pile above the two pans. The fish or meat goes on the rack above the sawdust. Place the lid on and open the vents. By the time the meths goes out the fish or meat should be cooked. Do not use pine chips or dust, hardwoods are ok but they should be dry. if you want to get technical you should cure the meat with a brineor dry cure. Hope this helps?
  2. Just found this, not sure if its been seen before? [ame] [/ame]
  3. If you want to attract Charlie try this: Boil a fair ammount of horse hoof in water for about 3 hours. Bottle the whole lot in a demijohn and seal with an air lock. leave in the sun for a couple of weeks. When you take a small amount out to use just top up with boiled water. 1. Don't do it indoors! 2. Don't spill on your clothes, you will have to wear it off! 3. Keep out of reach of dogs! Place a small amount in a 35mm film holder stuffed with cotton wool and a hole in either end. Place a small cord through the bottom hole with a simple over hand knot in it to stop it slipping off. suspend the cannister via the cord, saok the cotton wool with the mixture and replace lid. The liquid will slowly drip out onto the floor. This will bring em in for miles! Position where you can get a safe shotand overlook the bait. Enjoy
  4. Which ever method you choose you should put a crab through the top hole of the device to stop the cam opening and failing! You could use a snap link but a tripple lock would obviously be safer.

  12. I climbed my friends mast on his boat the other day about 25-30 feet. Not good, no anchor point and a suspect line the existing sail line. I struggeled to (dare I say it) get above the anchor point so I could work on the light fitting. There was lots of movement as it was windy and the boat was in the water. I realy didn't enjoy it! my friend said the mast was nearly touching the next boat when the wind blew:scared: Needless to say he didn't mention it whilst I was up there because he was bricking it and he was on deck
