  1. We are considering getting a stump grinder head for our 1.5 T excavator, anyone with any experience of them, along with recommendations/warnings?
  2. Hi Ed Don't suppose you could email me one please...???
  3. Thanks Mr Mctree I'll try them tomorrow. They seem to have fallen out of favour with suppliers.
  4. Struggling to find any Arb suppliers selling Hobbs H2. Anyone know any stores selling it. And why have they seemingly fallen out of favour? Plenty of GRCS but nowt in the way of Hobbs. Please no Hobbs vs GRCS...I want a Hobbs!
  5. Also interested in the mill; pm when its for sale please.
  6. Hi All; we are looking for an independant 3/4 man crew to join us for road side works this winter in Mid Wales area. You need to be certified, well equipped and have a minimum of 5 years experience for climber and groundy. Prefer CHAS or AA registered, but not essential. What is essential is that you are reliable, hard working and conscientious and have got plenty of roadside experience. PM me for more details.
  7. Chris Chester at Arb-Response is the man in your area. PM me for his moby.
  8. Thanks Difflock. It will be Sept/Oct due to habitat and nesting issues. Would you think 80% survival for translocated hedging to be realistic? Presumably we would'nt need water spray if it's raining properly again?
  9. 1.2 metre bucket to move it. But the question is; likely survival percentage of hedge we move?
  10. Road next to/above hedge is collapsing, so a re build is required. Hedge has doormice (EPS), so licence states hedge moved a couple of metres before work starts.
  11. 300 metres of hedge to move a couple of metres way from existing line. Established and mostly native species. 4 metres at its widest, up to 3 metres high. Any mature trees in amongst it all will be removed. Does any-one have experience of moving a hedge? The question I need answered is; what is the survival rate likely to be? The new bank will be constructed with new soil and soil enhancers. Thanks.
  12. Lovely! Beautiful and creative use of a stem. Any pics of it in progress?
  13. goods vehicles, other than an agricultural motor vehicle, used only for purposes relating to agriculture, horticulture or forestry: - is used on roads only in passing between different areas of land occupied by the same person - in passing between any two such areas does not travel a distance exceeding 1.5 kilometres on roads From VOSA site, as we were advised by The Man. So unless you register Mog etc as Ag motor vehicle which we have been told we can't...seems they are gradually blocking the loopholes.
