  1. I find Notch to be fine tbh. The Rope Runner Pro is a delight to use. So are the Gecko spikes. Which of Stein’s products are original ideas?
  2. Personally I would buy a big shot, just because it isn’t made by Stein.
  3. So you have thought about it, realise you have a use for it. Just buy a new one.
  4. It is a bit old now but a pretty good resource. Old school, by that I mean it is an actual book, made with paper and such. Not a load of web pages or half arse YouTube videos. Worth buying for the basics IMO. The basics are just as relevant today as they were 20 years ago. 5. Is it blue? Many moons ago... when I was a youth we used to drive down to York Dragway. They would do ‘Run what you brung’ days. There was a dude there once with a cossie engine in a Reliant Kitten. It was mental.
  6. Just get the Kitten and not a Robin. Think of the extra weight that fourth wheel will allow you to carry.
  7. Not really sure what that video is doing. Seems a lot of faffin’ I also thought it was bad juju to climb on a toothed ascender when there is a potential for shock loading? I.e. the adjustability of the second anchor ‘avec le duck’ I am sure there are better or safer options out there.
  8. I would click the link and follow the instructions mate. The original poster might not check back very regularly.
  9. Nice. Got many memories of that area. I lived in Darlo till I was 11. Firstly over Near Dodmire school and the old Cleveland Bridge, Neasham road area. Then we moved to Mowden, but the other side. My uncle still lives near the model T. I would have gone to Hummersnot school had we not moved away. Did you grow up in that area?
  10. Where abouts on the Tees? Spent many days as a kid at Broken Scar collecting conkers, and walking the dog. Did a lot of fishing with my old man at various stretches on the Tees and the Wear.
  11. This a a tree forum mate. I think you are confusing it with your fetish site. 90% of your posts have a sexual connotation. Do you realise it is nearly all blokes here? If that’s your bag then no worries. Any chance you could post something relevant for a change? Asking for a few friends!
  12. Yes the two litre.
  13. I used to work with a guy who’s previous job was UK wide Technician for the VW Amazon model. I am not sure about the latest versions but his comments were that they wouldn’t last long. Same engine as a Golf With two turbos strapped to it to get the power.
  14. Classic example of idiots sat behind a desk... 'computer says No!'
  15. @Justme So by the looks of it... The only one with 19.01.13 change is A. BE - has no code. D1 - 101 - not for hire or reward (that is, not to make a profit). C1E - 107 - not more than 8,250 kilograms. D1E - 101, 119 - not for hire or reward (that is, not to make a profit), weight limit for vehicle does not apply.
  16. Here is what was returned when I upgraded and changed address.
  17. Fair enough, but if you are supposed to take these things as the rules and regs we have to meet. You are only going on what the official website it stating are your entitlements. How could you be prosecuted if there was an issue when you are only following the guidelines?
  18. Eddie, that is exactly the problem I had. Screnshot was the same as yours without restriction before I upgraded my license. When it came back the restriction was online as well as the card. I even showed them the before screenshot, they just said it was impossible and it was wrong. Not sure how it would stand up to the law if you got a tug? If the police they tugged you and checked online, it would show no trailer weight restriction so should be ok.? The just kept reciting the line to me they had no record of me ever sitting a test. Even though I explained the year I passed and what I was entitled to drive etc. They just kept saying pre 97 blah, blah. I suggested they check the entitlements for a pass in 1992. Just don’t upgrade or move.
  19. My old license (paper) did not have the 107 restriction. I moved house and just before I sent my license in to get the updated information, I checked online. There was no restriction at all. So I printed out screen shots and then sent my license in as I had reason to believe they would strip it, even though they assured me beforehand I would have exactly the same categories once the paper was upgraded to the photo card. It came back with the plastic photo card and the 107 restriction had been applied. I spoke to them and they denied it and insisted it had always been on there database. Even when I sent copies of the screenshot they still wouldn’t have it. I drove 7.5t lorries and heavy trailers at the time as well. They just refused to comply or admit. I raised it further and even got a transport consultant involved and he helped me draft a letter to the Head of DVLA, complaining. Absolutely no luck at all. They were just in refusal mode. I eventually moved and left the UK and let the matter drop.
  20. Would the quality of the timber be effected by the seasons? What I mean is, in Scandiwegia there is a distinct growing season and a cold winter. I would guess similar in the PNW. The UK is warmish in the summer and not exactly baltic on the winter. Meaning they would grow quicker and of a lesser quality. I am probably way off the mark here, but worth asking the question.
  21. The stem was wider than 30”.
  22. Glad you’re enjoying it. The rest of us haven’t got a clue what you’re on about most of the time.
  23. Don’t get me wrong I enjoy using the 500i. Just the 400 has a lot more WOW factor. Use one and you will see what I mean.
  24. Real answers and worthwhile feedback from real workers. Not just insta fan boys going on about a product in every post in order to get free shit. I prefer the real world.
