  1. So, approx a 30% increase when you retire. How did you get on @Steve Bullman?
  2. So spill the beans. What’s your retired weight then?
  3. Into his bed.
  4. Any of you UR’ers read David Goggins? The guy is a comic book animal. His book Can’t hurt Me is a great read, if you enjoy audiobooks it is even better in that format
  5. I am miles away at the other side of the country. Anyway, I wouldn’t want to interfere.
  6. Ooh, I feel a bromance blossoming!
  7. It takes two to tango and both sound like arseholes IMO.
  8. Thanks, I think 😜
  9. They were in such a bad state, tbh I didn’t care what they looked like as long as we didn’t break a headstone or put one of the legs of the MEWP through a grave.
  10. You mean the MEWP or the topping... cough, cough, I meant Pollarding?
  11. As I mentioned earlier, we have been in a Graveyard for 4 days. Pollarding 10 Crack willows. The spec is purely based on safety and the trees will more than likely be removed in the next couple of years. Hangars galore, big tear outs of limbs and deadwood throughout the canopy. We had a 29m MEWP onsite, which made the job somewhat safer but there were still plenty of targets to avoid. Gravestones and the small gardens mourners have around them. Today was a bitch. Blowing a gale and pieces were going everywhere. 3-4 rows of graves away. We managed to get everything down with only one piece of damage. One of the repeater lights on the MEWP clipped a stone and broke the lense. I didn't get a picture before but you can see the state of the last one we tackled today. BTW, Pallets stacked up against the gravestones helped a lot.
  12. What does that mean? I thought you worked for railway, or power lines or some other utilities type co.
  13. I have been in a graveyard for the last 3 days. Crack willows that were rotten and falling to bits. There were breakouts and snapped limbs within the canopy. We have pollarded 9 of them and the last one tomorrow. Luckily, we have had a 29m MEWP. High pressure indeed, with gravestones everywhere. The tree work aint pretty but at least they are safe for now. The church will see how they respond with a possibility for felling them in future. I haven't taken any pictures as yet, but will grab a couple tomorrow.
  14. Why 192? Just a random figure to persuade them or is there a reason?
  15. I don’t think I have seen them advertised as groundwork boots, anywhere. Why were you insulted at the offer of 10% discount? You could have just returned them at your own cost and bought some different boots. Look on the bright side, you have a comfy pair of boots for wearing.
  16. I have a bit of bitcoin already, aswell as a couple of other currencies. Just wondered if I could transfer the doge into etc for use elsewhere as I don't use the free wallet app and cannot log into it.
  17. Not the end of the world I guess. The 200 you transferred is worth 640nok About 60 quid.
  18. @Rob D Rob, is there anyway you can find my details as of the transfer you made in 2018? Page 24 on this thread has the qr code i sent you. Cheers
  19. I have done that mate. I have another wallet setup and was watching doge and wanted to move it over. I would have thought the app would have remembered as it is still in my phone. I just cannot remember the login details and it just says error every time.
  20. And I can’t even remember the details of my login. Any suggestions?
  21. I burn pine and spruce all the time. Birch is the preferred here but it goes up like paper sometimes. Once I get a deep layer of coals I usually Chuck in some proper hardwood. I squirrel away Oak, Elm, Ash, Plum, Apple, Pear and Beech when I get a chance. Just the odd bits here and there through the summer. It soon adds up. One thing to note though IME is I don’t really think hardwoods alone give off that much heat alone and are much harder to get going. It does get pretty cold here in Norway. Pine is a fast quick heat fix when you come into a cold property. Edit: maybe the hardwoods alone just take longer getting there from a fresh start. That, plus a cold house maybe makes hardwoods seem less efficient compared to pine. They are great though once you want to keep it going through out the day.
  22. Made for the carry tool. See the small round hole in the top picture? And the plastic clip under the webbing. If that goes over then the plastic part slots into the small hole, holding it more securely in place.
  23. I hope your being sarcastic mate. Never had a problem and I am onto my 4th one.
  24. I have both. They both work great. For me it is more the task at hand. See top post on this page. I will add to that IMO the RRPro is a lot more refined. BUT the BDB is bombproof. Mine is a bit old and worn now but has seen a shit ton of work.
  25. Always just mount in the leather. Again had all sizes of saw hanging off there. I find it hard to believe the RE or other tool carriers will not fit. I have the Dmm vault on one TM and large carry tool on the other. Not fitted either to my Evo yet. Are you saying they do not fit?
